18.01.2022 Hi all, Apologies for the long message - this is for all those I don’t have a mobile number for. I’ve already had quite a bit of interest for an online option should it come to that . ... Hi Donvale Dojo team, Just letting you know that class is still scheduled to run tomorrow based on the regulations set by the government so no partner work, enough space for everyone and washing hands before and after class. For me personally training has been a way to focus on my mind, body and spirit without the many stresses that are on our minds at the moment and I always walk out of class really gratefully for karate in my life.. If you could give me an indication whether you are planning on coming it will help me plan tomorrow's class to maximum effect.. Also - "in the event" in the coming weeks we have to stop classes for whatever reason I was wondering whether people would be interested in being part of an online class.. I'm doing some contingency planning in the background and I've got some classes I'd like to try with you all should it come to that.. So my ask for today: - please message me if at this stage you are planning on coming tomorrow - let me know if you would consider an online class option in the event our dojo has to temporarily close (only IF it has to close)... 08.01.2022 Hi everyone, Due to further government advice and restrictions GKR will be closing their classes for the foreseeable future. As mentioned in my post yesterday (there’s been a lot of interest about going online). ... GKR are about to launch an online training platform and details on this will be released in the coming days. Stay safe, be well and make sure you stay connected during these challenging times and don’t forget that training is more important than ever. 04.01.2022 We are excited to announce the relaunch of our National Squad Tournament Team in Victoria. We are encouraging all students with a keen interest in tournaments t...o attend this Open Day on June 2nd. National Squad training is the ultimate training for those that are looking to improve their skills in kata and kumite. This open session will be run by Victorian State team coaches, Zone Instructors and Regional Instructors. There will be many tips given towards improving your karate and we will also give you an overview of this years schedule and plan of attack. The class is open to all students (all ages) that are yellow belt or above. There is no obligation to continue with the monthly squad training after this session but we do encourage you to come along and find out all about it. Hope to see you there :)
