Whilst we received no confirmation as to when our classes can recommence (indoors) we have been given the ok for out...door classes to resume from Nov 2nd. If you are interested in some outdoor sessions at our Epping full time centre please let us know and if there is enough interest we will get some classes running until we can start indoors again. This week I’ll also see if we can also find some areas for outdoor classes in other suburbs. We are getting closer

10.01.2022 A massive congratulations to all those that competed on Sunday. A big thank you also to all the officials who helped out on the day. As you may know, each tourn...ament we hold our Dojo Cup competition. Each dojo receives 1 point for each competitor, 5 points for a gold medal, 3 points for a silver and 1 point for a bronze. The results are as follows: 5th Place: 11 competitors - 4 gold, 3 Silver, 7 bronze = 47 points Heathmont Dojo 4th Place: 7 competitors - 4 gold, 7 Silver, 3 bronze = 53 points Templestowe Lower Dojo 3rd Place: 16 competitors - 5 gold, 7 Silver, 1 bronze = 63 points Greensborough Dojo 2nd Place: 19 competitors-10 gold, 5 Silver, 6 bronze = 89 points Reservoir Dojo 1st Place: 23 competitors-10 gold, 11 Silver, 7 bronze = 114 points Well done to the Epping Dojo! As you ...probably realise, the lockdown directives laid will once again necessitate the suspension of all GKR Karate classes in our region Please be assured that ALL ACTIVE direct debit training fee accounts will be placed back into suspension from tonight and for the duration of our closure. We hope this second outbreak of the virus can be brought under control swiftly, and we will notify you via email as soon as we receive approval to resume classes. Until then, we will continue to stay engaged with as many of you as possible over the coming weeks. This will include the resumption of our weekly online ZOOM classes, as well as a few other special activities that well announce along the way. 06.01.2022 Online Dojo / Live Classes With home schooling about to start, the importance of keeping our kids in routines and engaged in psychical activity is essential. Do...ing an online session can count as the 30 minutes exercise the children need to engage in as part of their PE session. For adults, the Online Dojo is a great way to stay active and keep ourselves mentally and psychically fit. If you havent already take the next step of jumping onto the online dojo. A very special mention to Mitcham Dojo who won more Gold medals than any other dojo and also won the Junior team kata and kumite. Great effort!
