23.01.2022 Go-Kan-Ryu Karate (GKR) is a traditional Japanese style of karate. GKR was founded by Robert Sullivan in Adelaide, South Australia. Robert first began training in the art of karate in 1964, and spent time training and teaching in both Japan and the USA before establishing GKR in 1984. GKR Karate is taught in a non-contact environment and promotes both character and physical development. GKR is a club for all ages and promotes self-defence, fitness, coordination, discipline, c...onfidence and stress relief. People of all walks of life can train together and learn the art of karate in a safe, fun and encouraging environment. Sensei Tabatha and Mark (pictured here trying to look composed while standing next to the legendary Kancho Robert Sullivan) will be running an onl...ine Karate seminar this Saturday from 10:30am. You dont need to be a member of the online dojo to be there, we are making this class free for all students to attend! (Because we miss you all!) The first half an hour will be a chance for us all to catch up, then from 11:00-12:00 we will do some training. 03.01.2022 Great news everyone! Following the latest easing of restrictions from the State Government, all of our dojos will be reopened as of tomorrow Wednesday 10th of ...June! We have had a couple of changes to our timetable so please have a look over it to confirm your class days/times. All active Direct Debit students have been sent an email outlining what happens moving forward, and if you have any questions then please contact Sensei Mark Ingle on 0423 519 386. If you've had a break from training for a while then now is a great time to get back into the dojo! Feel free to call or message Sensei Mark if you have any questions. All of your Sensei are excited and looking forward to seeing you all again soon!
