25.01.2022 A bit of fun last night for Good Friday. Balancing chocolates on our heads while moving in stance to learn patience and staying level. Also making our own katas. Other activities included bunny hopping, lots of cardio and other games. Stay safe for your long weekend and we will see you back next week. -Sensei Tiarna

21.01.2022 Good Morning Region 10. As you may have heard as of 5 pm today, Greater Brisbane will go into a three-day lock down. This includes the Ipswich, Logan, Redlands,... Moreton and Greater Brisbane areas. Unfortunately our classes have all been cancelled until Thursday 5pm. All going well Thursday classes will be up and running. We will make further adjustments as the QLD State government reviews the lock downs on Wednesday and we will keep you posted. Please stay safe so we can get on top of this and get back to training (and normal lives). See more

13.01.2022 Room change For training tonight, please be aware that we will be using the Performing Arts building instead of the hall tonight. It is the building beside the carpark above the retaining wall. Edit: we are now back into the usual hall as the power outage has been fixed

11.01.2022 EXCITING NEWS! Dear Region 10 Students, Parents and Caregivers, The Queensland Premier announced this morning that the 3 day lockdown of the Greater Brisbane a...rea will end at 12.00 noon today (Thursday 1st April). This means that all of our classes in the Brisbane, Ipswich, Logan, Moreton Bay and Redlands local government areas can re-commence tonight, and will operate at normal times over the Easter period and beyond. Please be aware that facemasks are still required indoors throughout QLD, but they do NOT have to be worn whilst training. We ask that you help us follow the current guidelines by wearing a mask when entering and exiting the dojo for the time being. Our instructors will ensure safe distancing is kept between students during class to support current safety requirements. 08.01.2022 Good afternoon R10 Students and Parents, A recent press release went out this morning regarding some new restrictions within the Brisbane area. These restrictio...ns refer to Gatherings in private homes and public spaces, however these limits do not apply to businesses operating under a COVID Safe Plan. GKR operates under a Covid safe plan and is able to continue to operate as normal. To continue to assist us to operate within our Covid Plan a reminder of the following:- 1. Keep social distancing of 1.5m 2. If you suspect you have any symptoms stay home and get tested. 3. Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water or use hand sanitizer frequently. 4. Observe all dojo rules regarding safe training practices. We appreciate your continued support that allows us to keep training and stay safe. Regards Sensei Kelvin

06.01.2022 Good News !!!, Some classes have started to open up. Our dojo has been given to go ahead to start classes as per the Timetable attached. Please check your email regarding further news and information you need to be aware of.
