21.01.2022 What's on this month in Region 11 Public Grading: Sunday 13th September @ Albany Creek: 930am check-in opens- Grading starts 10 am Sharp! speak to your Sensei regarding your grade attempt. Authorizations close 12th September.... Region 10/ 11 Combined Tournament 27th September. entries close 20th September. 8th kyu & up sparring equipment is compulsory. 21.01.2022 ALBANY CREEK CLASS UPDATE IMPORTANT NOTE: This message is future notice for classes NEXT week (15th/16th) - classes this week are still per normal at Albany Creek!! ============... Due to unavailability of the Albany Creek hall for a school event next Thursday 15th October & Friday 16th October, classes will not be run at Albany Creek for these two nights. There is no impact to the Monday afternoon/evening classes, nor the public grading, which will both still be at Albany Creek. ============ THURSDAY night students (Sensei Chris & Sensei Kimberlee) are invited to train at the nearby class at Strathpine State School (entry off Wirraway Street) from 6:00pm - 7:30pm, on Thursday 15th. Classes resume at AC as normal from the following week. Senior (Instructor) Training will also relocate on Thursday 15th to Strathpine from 7:30pm - 9:00pm. Students currently attending Senior Class for the purpose of Black Belt Assessment Preparation are invited to attend this alternate senior class at Strathpine. ============ FRIDAY night students (Sensei Peter & Sensei John) are invited to train at Bray Park State High School on Saturday 9:30am - 11:00am. AC Friday will resume as normal from the following week. ============ Classes will resume at Albany Creek as normal from Monday 19th October - this is for one week only. 15.01.2022 Hi Region 11 students and parents Just wanting to say first of all congratulations to all who graded last Sunday and it was great to see so many first timers grading to 8th kyu yellow belt and also well done to all the other students who achieved their next grade. A special mention to Dennis for achieving his 1st kyu brown. A big round of applause to your sensei who turned up to support you and also dedicate their time each week to teach you As your all aware we are now sta...rting to do light sparring and partner work. Please be aware we are being very aware of our Covid plans and hand sanitation is done prior to and after these drills. With the school holidays into their first week all of our classes are up and running and it’s the perfect opportunity for you to train as often as you like. We are currently offering a 10 % discount on our sparring packages and this is the perfect time to organise all your equipment through your instructor.
