25.01.2022 This will be the last week of Roxburgh Park dojo karate for 2020 before our Christmas holiday. Classes will resume Monday 4th January 2021. If students are attending Sensei Raveen or Sensei Paula's classes Monday 14th December 2020, Friday 18th December 2020 we are having karate lesson with party afterwards. If you can, please bring a plate of treats for us all to share at the parties. Karate class will be inside dojo, party will be outside. Families of students welcome. You ...can bring along your Christmas hat, decorations for our last classes of the year. Please note that Sensei Adem's class at Roxburgh Park on Wednesdays is returning back to Craigieburn (Willmott Park Primary School) in February next year. 23.01.2022 Online Dojo / Live Classes With home schooling starting, the importance of keeping our kids in routines and engaged in psychical activity is essential. Doing an online session can count as the 30 minutes exercise the children need to engage in as part of their PE session.... For adults, the Online Dojo is a great way to stay active and keep ourselves mentally and psychically fit. If you haven't already take the next step of jumping onto the online dojo, there is now a 3 day free trial period so there is no reason not to give it a go. Parents, please walk your children to the gates between the school and the carpark. Unfortunately, you will not be able to stay inside and watch your children train. 18.01.2022 Everyone had fun with the chocolate eggs today. We even sampled a few eggs too. We balanced an egg on our feet while performing a front kick, we balanced eggs on the backs of our fists to make sure our fists weren’t tilted back when we punched, then we balanced an egg on a spoon and held the spoon in our mouths while walking in long stance, to make sure we were keeping our head up and not looking down.

14.01.2022 Attention to all Australian students and instructors: Id like to update you all on a recent decision weve made about our tournament schedule for the remainder... of 2020. Given the ongoing health concerns and the likely hesitation many people may have to travel as a result of the Coronavirus situation, we have decided not to hold a GKR Karate Australian Titles in 2020. As you know, it has been a tradition of GKRs for the last 20+ years to hold a National tournament at the end of each year, but the probable lack of interstate entries would have greatly diminished its national status. What we will do instead is push our State Titles back to November (instead of September) and these will become the major end-of-year event on the GKR competition calendar in 2020. This will give all regions the chance to hold some local tournaments in September/October in the lead up to the November State Champs. Your Regional Instructor will keep you updated regarding this in the coming weeks. Thank you for your understanding.
