22.01.2022 Hello all Tarneit GKR karate-ka. GREAT NEWS - we are back to face-to-face training starting Sat 21 Nov. Training is open to all age groups. You should have received an email from GKR Karate advising of the new COVID-19 safe training protocols and importantly the new on-line booking process. If you haven't then please first check your spam email folder and then contact me by text (0414 393 022). You MUST book to train as we obliged to follow class sizes of one instructor per ...group of 10 students. There are 20 slots available at both on my classes on Sat morning as we have two instructors, but please do not turn up without booking as I do not want to disappoint you by turning you away. Also, parents will need to make other arrangements as they will not be able to stay at the dojo unless there are special circumstances which you can discuss with me. 14.01.2022 We are back to training tomorrow (Sat 20 Feb) Please note that everyone 12 years old and over must wear a mask in the dojo. Wearing a mask while training is optional. We have limited number restriction of 50 people in the dojo at a Tarneit so only new student and specially arranged spectators are permitted to stay to watch. Thank you for your cooperation. ... Some housekeeping:... 1 Please ensure that you are at the dojo at least 15 minutes before the scheduled start time so that Ryan and I can start the classes on time and provide our full focus on training. 2 There is no need for the online booking (like we did before the Xmas break) as we are back to training with larger numbers 3 A reminder that we are back to scanning membership barcodes so ensure you have your printout or phone ready to facilitate the signing in process. 4 Finally, we are gearing up to our first grading for the year - speak to Ryan or I if you believe that you are approaching the requirements for your next grade See you Saturday - Luc

12.01.2022 Hello GKR Tarneit parents. A reminder that as per Victorian COVID 19 requirements, a face mask needs to be worn inside the Dojo if you are staying as a spectator. Also note due to increasing first class sizes (10:00-11:00 session), only new student and previously arranged exception parents may stay to keep the total dojo occupancy within allowable limits. ... 11.01.2022 Hello everyone. I hope you are keeping well and coping in these very trying times. I do miss training with you all face to face and look forward to the day we can resume. In the meantime, just a reminder that we are offering free on-line Zoom training. There are multiple sessions through the week and you can join me and some other awesome region 26 sensei for our session on Saturdays 1000-1100. We have enough sensei to allow us to split into grade appropriate breakout rooms, so you'll get training specific to you abilities. 05.01.2022 Hello all GKR Karate Tarneit students. Thanks to all those who attended last Saturday's on-line class and did the casual clothes self defense session led by Sensei Mitch and Sana. I'm sure you enjoyed seeing Liam throw me to the floor! Just a reminder that this week is footy final's so feel free to wear you favourite AFL, NRL or other sports outfit for a fun session. While we are thankfully seeing some easing of COVID-19 restrictions, it will still be some time before we're back in the dojo together, so if you're not already put of the Sat Zoom on-line classes, drop me a text. 02.01.2022 Good morning Tarneit students and parents. It was great seeing students back in the dojo last Saturday. Just a reminder that you need to book in for each class as class sizes are currently limited to 20 students. So if you are attending this Saturday, please log in and book.
