24.01.2022 Kudos to everyone who showed up on Monday. After legs workout we split class in two parts. With one half of the class sensei Deon was doing strikes and blocks, with another half sensei Kirill was doing round and side kicks. And then we had two groups for katas. Overall we were able to focus more on specifics of the basics, especially on kicks mechanics, which was quite helpful for many students. Well done Graham for good effort, and Elle for saving your group from burpees by good responses. See you all tomorrow!

22.01.2022 We had two great sessions yesterday. First one was kata focused. Two groups, two katas. A lot of knowledge. And then we did some kumite for those who had gear, and some sparring drills for everyone else. Everyone trained well, so we did not have any specific awards yesterday.... Second session was all kicks. All sorts of them. In combinations. On kick shields. If you want more advanced stuff, make sure you visit second class in Wednesday. Looking forward to seeing you next time!

22.01.2022 Happy Monday! It is a beginning of new school term. Even though some kids start learning tomorrow, there shouldn't be any reason for you not to come to the session tonight! We, sensei Kirill and sensei Deon, are looking forward to seeing you tonight.

20.01.2022 Thanks to every student who came to train on Monday. It was a small but very productive session (so whoever did not come, you missed out). With grading in sight we spent some time with some basic moves, but we did them in zenkutsu dachi. Couple of higher level combos were also introduced. Last part if the session was devoted to sparring drills. I hope that soon more students will get their sparring gear and we will be able to dive into sparring 100%. Congrats to Tahlia for getting her orange tip. And to Mitchell for getting his grading slip. Good work everyone! See you next time.

16.01.2022 This Wednesday was good. After beginning of the school term more students are coming back to classes after some time off with more energy! We had more than 20 champions yesterday. After warmup we split the class into three groups: each of which was focusing on various combos. And because each group had different grade levels senseis could adjust given information accordingly. We finished first session with dodge-the-mitt game. Special awards went to: Aiden for strive for know...ledge, Heidi for great kiais, and Mitchell for strong spirit. Second class was small this time so we could spend a lot of time on kata Seiunchin (specially for sensei Nat and sensei Deon). Looking forward to seeing you next time! See more
