13.01.2022 It is with great sadness that today we announce the cancellation of the 50th Gladstone Eisteddfod and the 50th Gladstone Eisteddfod Showcase. This decision has ...not been made lightly. There are a lot of obstacles given the uncertainty of COVID19s time frame of impact or how it would affect organising an event such as this. Our priority is to align with Government and Health Department restrictions to minimise the risk of COVID19 harm. We can not in good faith guarantee that holding this event would be zero-risk. All entrants will receive a refund (minus Stardom admin fees). We thank our sponsors and volunteers for the support they have provided us this year. With all that is going on in the world, our love of the performing arts is one to keep us all going. If you need any guidance as to how that works in todays climate, please feel free to message us and well try to help as best we can. See you all in 2021!

12.01.2022 Just a reminder our AGM is tomorrow night (Thursday 14/11) 7.30pm at McDonalds Kirkwood. We need your assistance to keep this association running. Catch you there.

10.01.2022 Some new instruments coming our way

10.01.2022 Dear parents and friends of GISMA Our AGM is approaching on the 14 November and as such we desperately need your assistance. We need some parents to take on some of the committee positions. The positions include President, Vice-President, Secretary and Treasurer. We also need parents to support us at meetings and events throughout the year. I know from experience that the Treasurers role is about 30 hours per year including attending meetings. If we dont get parent assistance on the committee we will have to seriously consider the future of GISMA. Leanne Christensen
