03.01.2022 Kia Ora koutou e whai ake a Maori Maid nga mihi kia koutou ...... yesterday we were blessed with a great day to harvest harakeke here in Mandurah. Grateful to my cultural kaitiaki for providing the conditions and harakeke. It was a good physical work out cleaning one bush. Putting my hand to nature was awesome grounding and the spiritual feeling as I watched Tawhirimatea dancing through the rau of a cleaned pu harakeke. My moko and I enjoyed two hours of cultural intervention........and now I can have fun with flax #mahiatua
