22.01.2022 Please see below, the changes come in as of the 23rd so that affects our race meet this weekend. Announcement today from Karting Australia TAG 125 AND TAG 125 RESTRICTED... PARITY WEIGHT ADJUSTMENT During the past 12 months, there has been significant discussion from the karting industry and some competitors regarding the parity between engines in the TaG 125 and TaG 125 Restricted Classes. The data obtained from the recently introduced electronic Scrutineering Records, when matched with the official results from official timing system have provided Karting Australia with the ability to better assess the parity within these Classes. Based on our analysis of this data, we believe that parity adjustments are warranted for both TaG 125 and TaG 125 Restricted Classes. Parity Adjustments - Effective October 23, 2020 TaG 125 Restricted 3kg reduction to the combined Driver and Kart weight for all engines OTHER than the Rotax 125 engine. 19.01.2022 As Anthony posted, thank you to everyone who made the race meet a success in times where restrictions due to COVID-19 add another layer of complexity to pulling a race meet together. Thank you to Anthony and the Exec and other committee members for all the behind the scenes work to ensure not only the State Government but all our local Gladstone Regional Council expectations for COVID safety were met. As you all know, the Club and GRC have a strong, positive and longstandin...g connection, without them there would be no facility. We were recently recipients of a COVID 19 Rise Up grant in recognition of the impact COVID 19 requirements have on the Club, thank you GRC! It is tough managing things like sign in processes, canteen changes and not being able to have trophy presentations - don’t forget you can trade in your Certificate for a trophy - just send a private message to the FB page or email [email protected] We know you will all hang in there and understand that strange times call for unusual responses. Bring on the next lift of State and Local restrictions!! See more

10.01.2022 There’s word that last years state champ in Restricted Medium, Gaven Whitmore is coming to race next weekend and if we can get some good numbers of pre-noms Rudy Farkas from Ipswich club may come too. Question is are they good enough to give our local flyers a run, Brad Fleetwood, Dan Beveridge, Travis Martin, Scott Dagan, Aaron King? Whose up to race some of the states best at the best track?
