24.01.2022 We're back!!! It is with great excitement that we can announce Yaralla Sports Club be opening our doors Friday 5 June at 12pm. There will be some noticeable changes to our events, how they will be able to run and the maximum number of guests we are able to have. Please follow instructions from our staff.... If you have experienced a fever, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath or traveled overseas in the past month, please stay home. We hope to welcome you soon!

22.01.2022 One of Quota's many service projects is "Pencils Plus". We provide starter backpacks for disadvantaged children who turn up for school without the necessities... to begin their year. The backpacks contain pencils, scissors , ruler, etc. as well as a lunch box and drink bottle. These are handed to local schools for distribution by teachers to children in need. Last year over 100 backpacks were delivered. Funds from Quota's fashion parade will go to providing more of these backpacks, Please support our Fashion Parade at Yaralla on Saturday 12 October so we can continue with this worthwhile project YOU CAN STILL PURCHASE TICKETS FOR THIS EXCITING EVENT. 22.01.2022 We are so excited to hear the news of Stage 3 easing of restrictions! We are still waiting for the Industry Approved COVID-Safe plan to be put in place and are waiting on clarification on a few things. We currently expect the information to be available to us by late Thursday or early Friday. Once we have received the plan from QLD Health, we will post on our socials and websites. We ask that you please hold any questions in regards to the easing of restrictions until we have had further directive from QLD Health and we thank you for your understanding and patience during this time.

03.01.2022 It is with a sad heart that we let you know that Yaralla Sports Club (including Gladstone Events Centre), Gladstone Golf Club and Yaralla Fitness Centre will close today at 12.00 midday as announced by the Prime Minister on Sunday 22nd March 2020. Formerly (Queensland Alumina Sports Club) the club was formed in 1966 to organise sporting and social activities for QAL and it’s employees. Yaralla Sports Club has contributed millions of dollars towards community, sporting and soc...ial events since it’s inception 54 years ago and stands proud of it’s achievements as a community owned not for profit. The closure will impact all services and facilities and despondently we have been forced to stand down our employees with no certain future. We thank you for your support and with fingers crossed we hope to have the opportunity to resume operations in the future. Best wishes to all.
