20.01.2022 Fantastic to join with "Team Gladstone", Queensland Minister for State Development Cameron Dick and Mercurius CEO Karl Seck at the Bio World Congress. Perfect ...timing for the Minister to announce the $15M Hydrogen Industry Development Fund is now open. As the bio, renewable and hydrogen industry grows we need to ensure Gladstone is the destination of choice for investment and innovation. The Gladstone advantage: Deepwater Port State Development Area for major industry Established major industry that uses significant energy Highly skilled workforce A supportive community It is our distinct advantages that was the catalyst for Mercurius Biorefining to choose Gladstone as the site for its pilot plant at the Northern Oil site. We are creating a future energy hub, so we can continue to deliver the energy domestic and international markets will require. Joining me are Gladstone Industry Leadership Group CEO Patrick Hastings, Gladstone Engineering Alliance Chairman Anthony Buenen, CQUniversity Gladstone Associate Vice-Chancellor Professor Owen Nevin, Northern Oil General Manager Ben Tabulo and Gladstone Regional Council General Manager of Strategy and Transformation Carly Quinn. #BIOWC19 See more

10.01.2022 July marks the beginning of the growing season for our local seagrasses. Monitoring of our seagrass meadows is completed every November during the peak growing ...season, from the Narrows to Rodds Bay. In 2018, substantial improvements were observed in the overall seagrass condition from the previous year. These improvements have been attributed to the stability of seagrass at South Trees and in the inner and outer harbour, as well as significant improvements in meadows located in The Narrows, Western Basin, and Rodds Bay. #MFM #SeaGrass #Monitoring
