22.01.2022 Basketball age groups can be a little confusing. Age eligibility shall be midnight on 31 December of the year the competition concludes. Please see the year of birth corresponding to each age group below. All junior players must play in their age group unless agreed by the Junior Development Officer that they should play up or down.

11.01.2022 It’s been a busy week for our U16 Male and Female teams, coaches, managers, parents and referees at the State Championships in Brisbane. U16 Males finished 11th in Div 2. They won their last game against Mackay 99v95. U16 Females finished 9th in Div 3 coming away with a win 75v64 to Mackay. ... Our referees Albert, Alvin and Pauline also had a big week. Congratulations to Alvin Kahondo, awarded the tournaments Most Improved Referee.

08.01.2022 2021 U18 Basketball Australia #AusChamps A massive congratulations to Ben and the QLD North Men on winning a silver medal at this year's Australian Junior Championships ! A tough Grand Final but our athletes left nothing on the court going down 62-76 Erin and the QLD North Women finished the tournament on a high with a 78-32 victory over Basketball NT to finish 12th.
