25.01.2022 Draw - 24/8/20 Thank you to those that have volunteered to assist with our Covid management this week. It is much appreciated. For those teams that have not yet provided a volunteer, please make sure that a volunteer name is provided by the end of this week or we will have to look at reducing games etc. Teams that do not have a volunteer may be removed from the draw moving forward.

24.01.2022 We are back!! Draw for Monday 17 Aug 2020. Looking forward to seeing everyone back at touch but please make sure that you have read and understand the requirements of our COVID plans prior to arriving. If you are unwell, do not attend. Remember that we need you all to get in, play and get out to ensure that meet all our health and safety measures. 24.01.2022 Junior Touch start date for Season 2 will be 17th August 2020. Registrations are now open for all teams. During the break we have converted over to the NRL mySideline database for all registrations, results management etc. To register your teams and players you will need an NRL account, if you do not have an existing account you can easily register for an account. All teams that played in Season 1 and are wanting to play again in Season 2 will need to register the teams a...nd players. All new teams will also be required to register. Players that have paid fees for season 1 will NOT be required to pay fees for Season 2 however, any new players will need to pay fees. These fees will be followed up after the season commences. 23.01.2022 Draw for Monday 31 August 2020 Reminder - please ensure that all players and coaches are registered to your team. When you register to your team you will be provided with the option to select the type of registration (player, coach etc). We need this completed ASAP so if you could action, it would be appreciated. Referees - can you also register as a referee to your team so that we have those details on record as well. Covid volunteers have been scheduled for timeslots tomorrow, for those that have volunteered, thank you. Some teams have not yet provided a name so your team name is listed as the volunteer. Please make sure that a representative from your team arrives at the time scheduled to assist.

22.01.2022 UPDATE - WE WILL BE RETURNING TO PLAY ASAP!!! Following the recent committee meeting our target return date is Monday 17th August 2020 This date allows for our registrar to organise teams and our COVID officer to ensure we are meeting all guidelines. If we can be organised to return a week early we will keep you updated. Please remember our committee are volunteers ... Follow the page for the upcoming registration post, and further call for volunteers post. Fees - will carry over if you paid in season 1 2020 Austouch and referee training- post poned AT THIS STAGE. We will not return for the first few weeks, as this will depend on team numbers and space. An update will be posted once a return date is confirmed TEAM DELEGATES - start confirming your numbers!!!!

If there are any new children interested in starting this season, please come down tomorrow so that we can finalise numbers for this season. 19.01.2022 Draw for 16 November. Week 1 of Semi Finals! Due to some of the challenges with Covid this year the compulsory uniform for finals has been relaxed this season. If you leave team does not have a full uniform and have qualified for finals players will be able to play out uniform. All players names MUST be recorded on the scorecard, if a name is not appearing in the printed list please make sure it is written on before the game starts. Good luck to all teams!

19.01.2022 Thank you to all our members for abiding by the guidelines!! Please read the below for a refresher on our main guidelines for COVID OFF THE FIELD Please do not attend the fields more than 5 minutes prior to your game time All Entry and Exit points will be via carpark to clubhouse only. The back gate will be LOCKED... All attendees are required to use the sanitiser stations on way in and out. Additional hand sanitizer is at each field To help with social distancing guidelines it is requested that ONLY REGISTERED PLAYERS AND GAME OFFICIALS ATTEND THE VENUE, where possible. On the completion of games all attendees are to exit the venue ASAP The toilets will be open for use NO CANTEEN, NO TABLES, NO WATER BUBBLERS, NO BAG RACKS The canteen window will be used for administration purposes only (registration) Please remain at your playing field before, during, and after your game All attendees are encouraged to download the COVID Safe App ON THE FIELD All players and officials are required to be marked on the playing card (by the coach or manager) PRIOR to taking the field. NO TEAM HUDDLES please Players and coaches do not have to remain inside the sub box during the game if social distancing cannot be achieved ****THERE IS TO BE NO HAND SHAKING OR HIGH FIVING AT THE COMPLETION OF GAMES. LINING UP THE CHILDREN AND GIVING 3 CHEERS IS NOT PERMITTED, WHERE 3 CHEERS IS CONDUCTED CONGREGATION IS TO BE AVOIDED. *** There is to be no sharing of personal items, ie Water Bottles, Jerseys, whistles REFEREES At the referee area you will sign in, sanitise and Nat will confirm your game allocation Sign in and move to your field immediately Whistles CANNOT BE SUPPLIED If you cannot referee and your allocation has to be given to someone else please let Nat know ASAP, Nats contact details are on the draw each week Lastly, if you are sick, stay home. GTA officials and volunteers will be in place to assist with any questions or concerns and assist to meet COVID guidelines, and to enforce these guidelines if required. 09.01.2022 URGENT NOTICE: Whilst our COVID controls went well last Monday it is currently not sustainable with the number of volunteers we currently have. In order to ensure that we can continue to run the competition effectively, each team will need to nominate a volunteer to assist with supporting the mandatory COVID controls we have had to implement to commence playing. If we do not get the volunteers to support we may need to consider alternate options such as reducing the number ...of games etc. The primary support needed is manning of the entry points and the plan is to schedule team volunteers to a timeslot via the draw each week so that the load can be shared amongst all our teams. Please note that we are not expecting the same person to volunteer each week, with the current number of teams registered, the team volunteer may need to man the entry points for a few timeslots for the remainder of the entire season. 09.01.2022 Red Rooster chicken pox update We have been in touch with Rocky Touch and would like to confirm that none of the Gladstone teams that competed in Rocky over the weekend have played the team that has had the confirmed case of chicken pox. Based on medical information provided and in consultation with QTF there is no reason why any players should be excluded from playing in our competition this afternoon unless they are symptomatic. Chicken pox vaccination is included in the Aust immunisation schedule and based on this the risk would be considered low.

Please ensure on attending Monday you have read and understood to below information. Please also make sure your children understand things will not run as normal. ... The QR Code is up and running and you can CHECK IN prior to attending the fields, just remember to show us your confirmed screen on entry and check out before leaving the field. VOLUNTEERS - we are still looking for Field Marshalls, once the draw comes out please let Lucy know if you are able to be a field marshal at any field and time slot. A field marshal will only be required to monitor anyone crossing over zones and marshalling an immediate exit of all patrons following the completion of their time slot.
