22.01.2022 ARE YOU GETTING EXCITED ABOUT THIS WEEK’S NETBALL CLINIC? Only a few spots left in the older age group. Still time to book for both age groups. Here’s a summary about the 3 netball superstars who will be coaching everyone attending the clinic;... Gretel Bueta (Tippett) - Current Firebirds Vice Captain and Australian Diamond (#165) Goal Attack/ Goal Shooter. Gretel has been playing professional netball since 2014 and debuted for Australia in 2015. She is an unorthodox player coming from a basketball background which makes her extremely entertaining to watch. Her signature layup style shot is being implemented by other shooters world wide. Lara Dunkley - Lara is a centre court powerhouse with the ability to play across 3 centre court positions (C, WA, WD). Originally coming to the Firebirds from the Melbourne Vixens, Laras strong athleticism and tenacious attitude on court makes her a fierce opponent. Emma Tickner - Emma is a dynamic circle defender that has played for the NSW Swifts and has been a training partner for Sunshine Coast Lightning. A knee injury ended her career, however, she has a strong passion for coaching. WOW
22.01.2022 Wishing our Netball Community a very HAPPY, Safe, EASTER. See you hopping back on the courts soon.

06.01.2022 FROM NETBALL QUEENSLAND INTRODUCING NETBALLCONNECT! To our Netball Queensland Community,... As we enter the New Year the netty season is fast approaching! Sign-on for the 2021 season will be commencing soon and we are excited to announce we are moving to a new registration platform. We have listened to your feedback in recent years and, overwhelmingly, one of your most common pain points has been technology. Having undertaken a comprehensive search for a more efficient, more user-friendly system that best serves the evolving needs of our thriving netball community in Queensland, we are proud to introduce NetballConnect. NetballConnect is a world-leading sports technology platform that changes the way the game is managed, played, scored and spectated, with a variety of functions including: Registration: with the ability to register multiple users in multiple competitions, it’s a simple, easy and intuitive registration platform. Game Day app: With real-time scoring, verification, recording and rostering, it significantly reduces the required resources for game day management. Competition management: Reducing the time it takes to create a draw from weeks to minutes. Some of our members will already be familiar with parts of the app, having engaged with World Sport Action and its Live Scoring platform throughout last year, and in 2021 we are excited to deliver the full functionality of NetballConnect, all in the palm of your hand. Our coaches and officials will still require the MyNetball platform for accreditation purposes only, with all other functions to be performed via NetballConnect. This exciting new platform will deliver the best possible solution for the Netball Queensland community so that more people not only play netball, but they find it easier and more enjoyable to do so. NetballConnect is available NOW in the App store and Google Play. You can download it now to make sure you’re ready for sign on in 2021.
