22.01.2022 Kinder 2 spent some time exploring clay, this afternoon. Australian animals were used as a provocation and then, the children were left to run wild with their imaginations. The detail in the pieces is amazing.

22.01.2022 Yesterday Carly went to Coburg Farmers Market as thats where one of the bread tag drop off locations is. She was greeted by a lovely lady by the name of Jess. She was very impressed with how many tags we collected and was very thankful for them. Carly was very interested to know how many there was, so she counted them and there were 841. Lets see if we can beat that before the end of the year.

21.01.2022 Our little library. This lovely literacy space was set up by our educator, Sema.

20.01.2022 On Friday the 14th of December, we had our kindergarten graduation 2018. We began our night with a delicious dinner of the childrens favourite food from our menu and followed up with dessert that the families provided. The children proudly performed dances and songs they have learnt throughout the year. We would like to wish all our children all the best in the future. We are going to miss them so much and we are so proud of the individuals they have become. We would also like to thank Mary from Mary Petts Guitar School for volunteering her time on the night and for her Friday music classes throughout 2018 .

17.01.2022 As we are slowly saying goodbye to our kinder children this week, we wanted to share some amazing learning experiences that they were involved in during 2017. It was an absolute pleasure to be in their lives. We want to wish them all the best in their school lives. We are so proud our beautiful kinder children and hope to get a visit from them in their school uniforms. At Gladstone Parade Early Learning and Kinder, we understand the importance of providing a kinder program ...that is stimulating for every single child that attends. We do this by providing many excursions and incursions with different concepts, learning experiences focused on their current interests and developmental needs, and celebrating events with them that are linked to their familys culture and values, the local community and their world. We have limited spots available for 2018 and 2019. You may put your childs name on a waiting list by simply visiting our website. www.gladstoneparadeelc.com.au

15.01.2022 All of our children, from Nursery to Kinder 2, and staff participated in Clean Up Australia Day. The children went on excursions into the local community and helped tidy up the land. We participated in this initiative because we believe it’s important for children to learn how to keep our environment clean and the reasons we do this.

10.01.2022 This week we’ve been acknowledging Dr. Seuss Week. Today was Wacky Wednesday and everyone was encouraged to dress a bit odd - clothing backwards or inside out, mismatched colours/patterns, etc. In our Toddler 1 room this extended into their drawing time with upside down drawings!! The children really enjoyed this wacky experience.

06.01.2022 The children have begun to learn more about Indigenous Australian culture and as part of this, we have built an acknowledgement of country into our group times. This has been a beneficial experience for the children and they have also been exploring the reason we have embedded this into our centres program. Today, two of our children showed us that they have memorised the acknowledgement and stood proud as they spoke these powerful words.

04.01.2022 Thank you to everyone for celebrating Mothers Day with us on Friday night. Happy Mothers Day!

04.01.2022 We had a wonderful night at our End of Year Party on Friday night. We were overwhelmed with the amount of people who attended; it truly warmed our hearts to see everyone come together as a community to celebrate. We enjoyed lots of activities on the night including, African drumming, face painting, arts and craft activities, jumping castles, as well as a visit from a special guest... Santa! We also enjoyed a delicious BBQ prepared by our volunteers. Through the BBQ we managed to raise over $200 which will go to Big Group Hug. Giving back to the community is a great value to teach our children.
