23.01.2022 Gladstone Quality Market will be on Sunday 15th December. We have a fabulous Christmas Market lined up for all our visitors. Our Market will be open from 8.00am to 2.00pm to allow our visitors extra time to do their Festive Shopping.... There will be a huge variety of stalls with loads of wonderful products for sale. Our Fresh Food Producers will have as much produce as they can for sale on the day despite many being ravaged by fire conditions. There will be great coffee, tasty food and many other treats for sale on the day. Our Market will rock along to the fabulous music of Delma, Pete & Alf who are favourites and always enjoyed by our many visitors. So come along, bring your family, tell your friends and share this post with everybody. Gladstone will be a fabulous place to be on Sunday 15th December. The Market will be buzzing, the town with its Hub Markets will be on, businesses in town will welcome our many visitors with many products to please everybody. Cafes & The Hotel will also have an amazing array of goodies to please everybody. 23.01.2022 Gladstone Quality Market is on again this Sunday 15th September from 8.00am to 1.00pm There will be loads of fabulous products for sale. Great Coffee, loads of tasty food and lots of fresh local produce as well as the wonderful music by Jim & Sue. Come down to this fabulous Market on the riverbank. Have some breakfast or lunch or just enjoy a coffee and see the amazing array of products that the stallholders have for our visitors.

Many businesses in the township of Gladstone will still be open and welcoming visitors including some cafes, most shops and the Hotel over this coming weekend. It will be your last chance this year to come along and enjoy all the Fabulous Products, Coffee, Food and Wonderful Music our Market has to offer. The Community of Gladstone will be open for business with Cafes, Shops and the Hotel welcoming Visitors as well.... COVID Restrictions will still be in place at our Market with condition of entry being signing in with a QR Code or Manually and Hand Sanitising. We thank everybody for helping us with this but we believe it is most important that we try our upmost to keep everybody as safe as we possibly can. The Gladstone Market Committee will meet this week on Wednesday 9th September to discuss and make a decision on whether we will be holding a September Market. ... We thank everybody for their patience and understanding and we will be considering all the information that we have available when making this important decision. As over the past few months we have had a Community to consider as well as the Stallholders, Visitors, and our Committee. Once we have met and made a decision we will let everybody know. 20.01.2022 Good Morning To All Our Gladstone Market Followers Our Very Best Wishes to Everybody for a Fabulous 2021. Our First Market for 2021 is on Sunday 17th January, 2021.... We have a great line up of Wonderful Stalls with some really interesting unique products. Fabulous Coffee, Tasty Food, Fresh Produce if the weather is kind to our Producers and Plants and Seedlings for the garden as well as lots of other interesting products. We will be entertained with the unique music of guitarist Luke Vassella who is always really popular with our Visitors and Stallholders alike. Our Market will be COVID SAFE with the condition of entry being everybody needs to QR or sign in on entry and hand sanitise as well. For people who are allergic to hand sanitisers we encourage you to bring your own as IT IS A CONDITION OF ENTRY THAT ALL VISITORS SIGN IN AND SANITISE THEIR HANDS BEFORE ENTERING THE MARKET AREA. 18.01.2022 Good Morning Gladstone Market Friends Firstly our Committee would like to thank everybody for their patience with the situation with our Market cancellations during the course of this year. Firstly we inundated with rain in January, February & March and then of course the COVID Virus happened. What an unfortunate set of events that has prevented our Market being held safely. The Market Committee for Gladstone Market met yesterday to discuss our Market that was due to be hel...d on Sunday 20th September. After much discussion and looking at all the restrictions and important things we needed to put in place to hold our Market it was decided that the Market would not go ahead for September 20th The Good News is that the Committee feel that if there are no further restrictions put in place between now and Sunday 18th October that, with some help from our wonderful Stallholders and Others we will be able to re-open our beautiful riverside Market in October. There will obviously be some changes to the way we set out and entry and exit points for our visitors will be restricted. As long as we get some Volunteer help we will be able to start up again. It should be noted that it will be very important that all our visitors understand that there will be some changes and that social distancing, good personal hygiene and respecting the rules and changes that we will be putting in place, is of paramount importance for us to continue to hold our Market in the Park at Gladstone. The Health Minister for New South Wales Brad Hazzard announced that the restrictions on mixed Markets is still in place for the time being. Thank You to all who attended and helped us to put on a COVID Safe Market.... We were so lucky with the weather and managed to hold the Market, pack up and head for home before the much needed rain started. Our Committee and Volunteers signed in and hand sanitised 1500 people give or take a few. Our Stallholders were amazed to see so many out and about and had a great day. 05.01.2022 Good Morning to All Our Gladstone Market followers The Gladstone Market Committee has met and discussed the re-opening of Gladstone Quality Markets. It has been decided that once we have consulted with the Gladstone Community and if they are happy with our decision we will commence our Market on SUNDAY 16th AUGUST, 2020 providing there are no new restrictions put in place.... The health and safety of all the Gladstone Community, Visitors, our Stallholders and the Committee is our most important concern. Everybody is very eager to bring our wonderful Market back to the Park in Gladstone, but we are aware of the difficulties of controlling the flow of visitors in such an open space so whatever we put in place will have to be for the foreseeable future, if we are to hold a safe Market for everybody involved. Our Committee are aware that some Markets will be starting up in July and we will be watching these closely to see what they have put in place as their COVID-19 Safety Plan. 04.01.2022 Good Morning To All Our Gladstone Market Friends The Committee for Gladstone Market met yesterday to discuss whether the Market that was planned for Sunday 16th August would be able to go ahead. After much discussion it was decided that taking all the information into consideration that the forthcoming Market for August would be cancelled.... This was not a decision that was taken lightly by the Committee. Our first consideration must be for the Community of Gladstone on the whole. As we have no control as to who would be visiting the town to come to our Market and given the concerns now circulating throughout New South Wales about community transmissions we believe that this was the most responsible decision to make given the COVID concerns. The Committee will continue to monitor the situation and will meet again early in September to assess the situation. Our primary concern is to ensure the safety and health of the Community in Gladstone, our Stallholders, Visitors and our Committee and we will continue to monitor the situation over the coming weeks. Gladstone Market will be back bigger and better and we invite everybody to continue to support our decision to put the Community first until we are comfortable that we can present our Market in a safe way for everybody concerned. Visitors were great about sign in and hand sanitising and we appreciate that people have accepted this is the new normal for the time being.... Our Stallholders had a brilliant day and appreciate the support shown by locals and visitors alike. Mark the date in your calendar for our December Market which is Sunday 20th December starting at 8.00am and finishing at 1.00pm There will be a great array of Stallholders and also delicious food, great coffee, cold drinks, and yummy ice cream. We will be enjoying the Music of Delma, Pete & Alf so bring a chair or a rug to put down and listen. We will be putting out the shade umbrellas but you need to remember to bring your own fold up chair. Put the date on the fridge, in your diary or wherever you can to it remind you to come to Gladstone Market on the Riverbank and enjoy the stalls, the food, the coffee and all the other delicious surprises and treats you are likely to find. Don’t forget that Gladstone township is open and vibrant on Market day as welll. We look forward to welcoming you on Sunday 20th December.

Our March market will be laiden with new-season produce, jams and preserves, seedlings and established plants, delicious baked goods, local meats, artisan wares and handicrafts... and yummy brunch and lunch options to enjoy while you explore the market or sit and enjoy the live music.

This has become more of a priority as Mothers Day approaches in May and people are looking for products they normally buy on a regular basis. This would include all Stallholders who sell fresh produce, nuts, bakery goods, cakes, honey, jam, chutney, relishes, mustards, flowers, childrens clothing, art, bird boxes, plants, seedlings, small goods, buffalo meat, containers of gelato, dog coats, handmade jewellery, brass lamps, smoked fish products, cheeses, assorted gift items, childrens toys & fun items, metal & iron products, goats milk soap, beauty products, lemon myrtle products, leather goods, wooden art, handmade wooden items, mosaic items, leisure wear and almost everything else you can think of. Our Stallholders will be happy to, IF POSSIBLE arrange for you to get the items you need. This will help you with your ability to purchase what you want/need and will certainly help our Stallholders In this difficult time. There will be a great choice of Stallholders with many wonderful things to tempt our Visitors. Fresh produce, great coffee, yummy food, numerous stalls with lots of different items which will be perfect for that Christmas Gift for Family and Friends.... Our Market starts at 8.00am and finishes at 1.00pm. It is a condition of entry that all visitors sign in using our QR Code scanning system ( if your don’t have a QR Reader on your phone now is the time to download the free app). Either a general QR code or the NSW Health QR code will work. If you can’t do this then you can manually sign in at the entry point. Each visitor will be asked to hand sanitise also on entry. IT IS A CONDITION OF ENTRY TO OUR MARKET THAT ALL VISITORS SIGN IN AND HAND SANITISE BEFORE ENTRY. Once again we will be controlling entry and exit points to ensure that we keep everybody safe and that ensure that social distancing is alive and well.
