23.01.2022 Some highlights from our 2019-20 Season Presentation Night. Thanks to our major sponsors, BlueFit and the Gladstone Regional Council and Tony Ward from McDonalds. Thanks also to Glenn Butcher MP for helping present some of our trophies. Happy swimmers, proud Coaches and parents. We also officially acknowledged and welcomed Terry Fellows as our newest Life Member. Thanks Terry for your many hours coaching our kids over the past 9 years... all as a volunteer! That smile Thank...s to the crew who organised the evening and to Tom of course for the time and effort he puts into developing our swimmers; not just as athletes, but as good human beings - not just stroke correction, but goal setting and life direction - not just a coach, but a mentor and confidant and creator of opportunity. Here's to another successful season.

20.01.2022 The carnival season is upon us. Don’t forget to jump onto swim central and pay your 20/21 Queensland swimming registration. This will need to be done before you can nominate for an upcoming meet. It’s really straight forward for existing members. For our new families look for our club and then purchase in the basket a corresponding memebrship for the right age group. Shout out if we can help.

19.01.2022 Today at the end of the City of Charm Carnival, the officials provided an opportunity for all swimmers that were close to state times an extra swim to try and achieve them. We had Dallas, one of our twelve year old boys, take up the offer. Dallas has been extremely close to the 50m freestyle time at the last three carnivals and was therefore very determined to achieve this today as it was his final chance before States. In this video that one of our swimmers took you can see... our team supporting him in this race. Dallas is always the loudest supporter in our team with a megaphone voice so it was their turn to show their support to him and that they did. After he got out of the pool there were hugs, tears and goosebumps all round. Congratulations Dallas you did it. 12.01.2022 Wishing Kane Martin the best of Luck this weekend! He has been selected in the 2020 Swimming Queensland Talent Identification Program. As a regional swimmer, Swimming Qld is flying him to Brisbane for the weekend as part of the Sustainable Performance Pathway Initiative. It is a program designed to identify, monitor and support athletes who possess the attributes to successfully represent Queensland at major events. Congratulations Kane Martin and coach Tomas Fronek on this recognition. We are looking forward to seeing what this season will bring for Kane and for all of our swimmers who have been working hard in the pool! ##Gladiator Pride!!

03.01.2022 It is with a heavy heart we share the passing of our life member Terry Fellows. Terry has been a tireless volunteer, coach and friend to so many of our swimmers and families over the last 25+ years. Words can’t express the heartbreak we are all feeing at the loss of a friend and coach. We offer our condolences to his heartbroken family during this difficult time, we will do all we can to assist and support you during the coming days. ... Thankyou to our wider swimming community who have reached out to us today and offered your condolences, we know Terry touched the lives of so many. Your laughter, jokes and plenty of stirring, will be missed Terry, your life membership to our club a beautiful reminder of all you gave to something that you loved so deeply, young Gladiators.
