Weve been closely monitoring the daily ever changing situation with COVID-19 On behalf of Sheyne and myself, we would like to let you all know that at Glamour Pets, we are doing everything we can to STAY OPEN and safe! (For how long who knows?)... We take the health and safety of you, your family, your fur babies and our family very seriously. We will continue to stay open as long as we can during this very hard and challenging time. We have implemented extra strict hygiene procedures within our workplace and home to keep the nasty germs away, including hand sanitizers, sprays, disinfecting all surfaces including doors, benches, eftpos etc, on a regular basis. Only allowing one person in our shop to drop off and pick up at one time. Happy to take payment over the phone. Kindly could we please ask that you call us immediately on 0447 593 317 if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment due to feeling unwell or are showing flu like symptoms to keep everybody safe. As most of you already know, We are one big happy family at Davison Rd with our 74 year old mum Nana Carol & 80 year old dad Poppy Denis (who is disabled and spends his life in a Wheelchair) who live on the property alongside Sheyne & her family ( I havent had to move in just yet ) so keeping our oldies safe is just as important to us as keeping you all safe. Were actively following the advice from the Australian Government, the Department of Health and the World Health Organisation. Hang in there everyone! We will all get through this some how. Stay in touch with us, stay as positive as you can, look out for each other, love each other, keep cleaning and most importantly, dont forget your four legged babies in times like this. 23.01.2022 **** IMPORTANT UPDATE **** **** CHANGES to Glamour Pets*** Apologies for long post ... To all our wonderful clients and friends, Yesterday at work I had a fall and I’ve broken a bone in my right foot and could be off work for a quite a few weeks not 100% sure how long yet. Have to elevate, rest and basically do nothing for at least 2-4 weeks. Will know more in 2 weeks once swelling has gone down and more X-rays done. Maybe moon boot or cast for up to 6-8 weeks from what they’ve said last night What this means for Glamour Pets? Well basically....poor Sheyne is going to have to run completely solo for a few weeks until I can put weight on my foot again. We may need to cancel or reschedule some appointments in the next few weeks/months as she simply can’t do as many dogs as we normally would do in a day. Could we kindly ask for some extra patience, support and allow extra time for Sheyne to have your puppies ready through the day? If your doggy isn’t in urgent need of grooming, could you kindly send us a text message and we can ring you back to postpone to a later time. This is going to be a day by day process unfortunately and a juggling act. This is going to be a very challenging and stressful time for us both, but us Currie Sisters are strong, resilient and tough so we will get through this one day at a time Thank you to everyone who has offered help and support, really means the world to both of us but unfortunately as bad as it sounds, Sheyne works better on her own without someone’s help if that makes sense? Unfortunately it’s not the kind of job you can just get a temp to cover for awhile Thank you for your understanding and patience. We Will keep you all posted in the coming weeks when I know more. We are very fortunate to be busy and business as usual under strict covid hygiene and only allowing one person in our shop at any one time.
