24.01.2022 PEET Vic Incorp has embarked on manufacturing Indian pickles that are genuine and traditional with authentic Indian spices and a century old method of seasoning the basic rinds of fruit and vegetables. This complements our glass recycling programs as the pickle jars are recyclable and incorporate a container refund scheme.

24.01.2022 For the last 20 years China has been taking 600,000 tonnes of waste from Australia every year. China has put a ban on imported waste from western countries since mid 2018; putting extreme strain on landfills and the underground water systems. The only answer to this world's conundrum is to rid the world of any manufactured product that is not recyclable at the end of its life cycle usage. The better solution is to encourage as much reusability of packaging. Reusability will immensely reduce plastic waste going to river, marine and landfills. Any complacency to tackle this problem head-on will destroy the very basic of our food resources and drinking water availability. Reusing glass jars for our Pickles is one small step for PEET Vic Incorp; but one giant leap for the betterment of the Environment.

18.01.2022 Hi everyone; hope you are having a great sunday, especially in Melbourne, the warm sun is out and people are out in droves on the beach. The cafes are full of people having coffee or a juice or beer. If everybody could drink out of a reusable glass tumbler; we could save about 2 billion plastic cups going to landfill every month in Australia. When will restauranteurs brave it to encourage change in behaviour.

07.01.2022 We had our 1st AGM in Melbourne on Oct 24th 2018. Our Secretary Jeffrey Woods chaired the meeting and presented the first Annual Statement of activities for the year 2017 - 2018. During the year, PEET Vic made a submission on behalf of Our Lady of Sacred Hearts Ladies Secondary College, to the DELWP, for a Grant to expand the Solar PV system to 99Kw from its current 6Kw. It is a WIP. Our current G2G project is also a WIP.
