24.01.2022 Bureau of Meteorology are forecasting showers and storms over the next few days, particularly from Sunday afternoon. Now is a great time to check your property for loose objects and clean the leaves out of the gutters.

20.01.2022 Spring is now here and summer is coming. And summer is also storm season, so it's time to do some checks at home, starting with ensuring that gutters, down pipes and drains are clear of leaves. On our call outs for leaking roofs, we find that the prime cause of water leaking through ceilings is clogged gutters.

13.01.2022 Tonight our Group took delivery of our long awaited new vehicle from the Local Controller. All members present for the occasion were impressed with what we received, and once back at the GHM base it was quickly equipped with all equipment required for Mountain rescues. Admittedly it was a tight squeeze to get it in the shed, but with guidance it was achieved without incident.

05.01.2022 A tree down provided the opportunity for Chainsaw competency renewal for one member today, as a tree was removed from a property driveway.
