18.01.2022 Appreciating the extraordinary diversity and beauty of Australian native flora in this privately commissioned book we produced. Authors Sarah Houseman and Tim McKellar, photos Tim and Ben Wrigley. With an Anglo -colonial culture Australians have celebrated Winter as a time of dormancy for nature. However, for many Indigenous flora Winter is abundant! Flowering happens between late Autumn, Winter and Spring. This image features the Diploaena Grandiflora shrub - it is outstanding as a cut flower and hardy and drought tolerant in the garden.
