11.01.2022 GLASSHOUSE TEAM HAS AWARD-WINNING SPIRIT While the 2019-2020 cricket season finished in February, the Glasshouse District Cricket Clubs womens team were still... celebrating their first season just last month, having been awarded the Spirit of Cricket Award by the Sunshine Coast Umpires Association. Team captain Kim Howden said the team was excited to have been recognised for their sportsmanship, particularly as it was their first season in the competition and, for most, their first time playing the game. Im so proud of the girls and their efforts, she said. Theyre a great bunch of girls and we have so much fun - we often use more energy laughing!
