25.01.2022 Just sharing a pic of my girl because... well... Just because ;-)

25.01.2022 Lost Stolen or Strayed? Do you know this dog? Apparently she has been wandering around Macquarie Pass the last two days. The lady who took the photo said she was in the grass near the sign at the bottom. If you are local to the area I’m sure that makes sense to you. I don’t think she looks particularly lost or distressed but she is certainly not where she is supposed to be. People who have seen her think she may have had puppies recently, if so I’m sure somebody is wondering where the heck she is. I was contacted by a client of mine wondering if I thought it was a Maremma and I said I’d share her pic. I don’t have any other info, sorry. Feel free to share anywhere you think might be helpful. If you think you know her, message me and I’ll put you in touch with the person that contacted me.

23.01.2022 Puppy profile: What do you do when your bowl is empty? Turn it over and sleep on it of course! This little cutie is Orange Head, according to the colour coding system that helps us keep track of who is who. Aside from her obvious cuteness, she is starting to show signs of good guarding instincts and is also a lovely girl that is very fond of a cuddle. She is going to live on a small acreage in sunny Queensland to guard kids and chooks. A job she is eminently suited to!

23.01.2022 Just a quick update on the lost dog post. Apparently she is currently in the care of a vet and will be released to Maremma rescue when she is ready to go. Not exactly a tearfully happy reunion with her family but a much happier ending than it could have been!

18.01.2022 2020 has been a turbulent year thus far, and it does not look like it will be settling very soon. As we hold on tight and wait for things to stop spinning long ...enough for us to find our balance again, I thought it might be nice if we cheer each other up and add a little more joy to the world by sharing pics of our babies. 15.01.2022 It's so wet here that Atticus and Mika have taken to their shelters, along with all their charges. Even the ducks have taken to their beds!

06.01.2022 Puppy profile: This is young master Orange Tail. He is a cutie like all his siblings but he is a bit more serious than some of the others and more keen to have a play or a chew on your gum boot than a cuddle. He is a very sharp little puppy and is showing great early guardian instincts. He is going to live with a mastiff cross and help her protect a whole lot of chickens so he will be able to put his skills to good use, watch out foxes!

03.01.2022 Two little boys: Both blue tail and green tail are yet to be spoken for. They are both showing good early guardian instincts but are also always up for a pat. Of the two of them, green tail is probably slightly more of a snuggle bunny than his brother but it would be a close call.
