25.01.2022 Bowls and platters need to be fused first and then fired a second time over a mold. The designs and shapes are endless and can be created to fit into any decor.
21.01.2022 During lock down I lost all enthusiasm for my glass, but after a few weeks I gave myself a good talking to and forced myself back into my workshop. Looking for inspiration on the internet, I found a few pieces that I could ‘borrow’. So thank you to other glass artists out there who are happy to share. I was also pretty complimented to see some of my own pieces which have been ‘borrowed’ and tweeked. so here are a before and after shot. Look how some of the colours change once fired. It happens a lot with reds and yellows. Fortunately I got the result I was after.
21.01.2022 The Gallery is opening up again soon and I spent the day restocking my glass. Very happy with how it’s all looking.

09.01.2022 I’ll have to keep taking holidays! look what happened while I was away.
06.01.2022 I live by the ocean and have the sound of the waves constantly in my head. My waves can be mounted on a wall, can stand freely or be displayed in a decorative stand. The colour of the ocean is constantly changing as are the pieces I work on.
05.01.2022 Wow, look how clever my latest workshop attendees are. I forgot to take ‘action’ photos but I think everyone had a great time. Lots of Christmas decorations! One kiln load already fired, these ones set to fuse tonight. A new workshop planned for early in the new year. A big thank you to AA Kilns at Warner’s Bay for rushing to my rescue at 8pm on Wednesday night, working till 11.30 to get my kiln back in working order for the workshop on the weekend.
04.01.2022 Not only do I live close to the sea, but also among the many native trees which attract our bird life. My Australian native bird series includes white cockatoos, black cockatoos, lorikeets, rosellas, and king parrots. Some I fuse onto ‘tree branches’ while others can be hung or mounted on a wall.
