20.01.2022 Glazed & Confused Studio is excited to offer Play with Clay Experimental pot and object making with Hermie Cornelisse Starting 19 September 2020 Saturday 9.00 am 12.00 noon... 3 hour sessions, 4 consecutive weeks Coffee and tea provided Cost per student: $250pp for the 4 weeks This workshop will suite experienced potters and artists. Basic pottery techniques will be used experimentally to change work habits and begin new project work. A series of warm up exercises at the start of each session will lead into project work. Hermie will demonstrate pottery techniques throughout session and assist students as needed. Students will be encouraged to self assess their work. This workshop will not cover glazing. Bookings are essential via Glazed and Confused website. Note to enrolled students: Clay for project work is an additional cost, or BYO clay Clay will be provided for warm up exercises Student tool kit: Paper and pen, journal - optional Basic ceramic tool kit Found objects e.g. rocks, sticks, small objects, stamps, rolling pin etc. Box to store project work Bucket for recycling clay Basic ceramic tool kit Non-breathable plastic, e.g. drycleaner grade plastic, 4 sheets minimum Newspaper - optional See more
