13.01.2022 Hiding in our community garden right now.. are lots of Eggplants Although often considered a vegetable, eggplants are actually berries by botanical definition! Eggplants are a part of the nightshade family: previously thought to be poisonous! (They’re not, but you shouldn’t be eating the leaves or flowers)... Eggplant are also called aubergines (UK) or brinjal (South East Asia, South Africa) There are so many dishes you can make with eggplant including Parmigiana, Moussaka, Baba Ganoush (dip), stuffed eggplant.. the options are endless!
