21.01.2022 Today I spent time with Huw and Rory hearing about how they are learning Japanese for their Passion Project I was able to assist them in getting a plan about they can keep developing their skills in this area when they start high school in 2021. (well done) Huw and Rory!! Passion Projects are where students in Years 5/6 select a topic of interest and undertake learning a skill or talent based on their interest ... I look forward to spending time with Years 5/6 over the coming weeks and seeing what they have achieved

Students are encouraged to write about their holidays, their feelings or amazing imaginative stories and will continue journaling in Term 4 on their return.

15.01.2022 In maths Kangaroo Paw mastered length this week. Students brainstormed all the different vocabulary used when discussing length. When trying to measure using reading books and toy cars, these clever students noted their measuring equipment had to be the same size to ensure they measure an object fairly. Today, Kangaroo Paw used buttons to measure various classroom objects. They had a blast, especially measuring their own shoe! ... Amazing Kindergarten #LoveWhereYouLearn

In our busy world, its vital that we check in with one another from time to time. This morning, Waratah discussed the importance of having a chat to a friend or a trusted adult when feeling down.
