18.01.2022 The Glebe Rowing Club Polka We were contacted by the State Library of NSW to let us know about The Glebe Rowing Club Polka, written between 1870 and 1880, at the time the club was established in 1879, dedicated to the members of the Glebe Rowing Club. 18.01.2022 Please think about our friends at the Manning River RC in Taree. Check out the Manning River Rowing Club page to see more pics of how their clubhouse is being devastated once again in the floods. This while being rebuilt after being badly damaged by storms a couple of years ago. Great to see they retain their sense of humour.

15.01.2022 We at Glebe congratulate Rowing NSW on this great initiative. The Club vs Club was a well run contest of fun and games. Glebe did exceptionally well holding the lead in both the Masters and overall categories right up until the last couple of days, but, as in many races, was pipped at the post. Well done to Leichhardt, Nepean and UTS Rowing Clubs. And more, well done to all the Glebe members who pushed to do those extra few metres

And we need everyone to get training now and help: - GRC go global at the Head of the Charles in October 2021... - Make 2021 Glebe’s best season ever. Top 3 for you and me. So, get training, share your training results, help your crew members.

03.01.2022 Cancellation of the 2020 Sydney International Rowing Regatta Hi All, As you would have seen yesterday, the Federal Government has announced, on the advice of the Commonwealth’s Chief Medical Officer, that non-essential mass gatherings of more than 500 are recommended not to proceed from Monday 16 March 2020 in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. On the basis of this, we regret to inform you that the 2020 Aon Sydney International Rowing Regatta and the Women’s Centenary Dinner hav...e both been cancelled. Rowing Australia’s statement can be found across our digital channels. As you will appreciate, this is an ever evolving situation, but we wanted to inform you as early as possible about the cancellation so that you’re able to change your plans accordingly. We will be in contact with those clubs and schools who have entered the regatta early next week. We thank you for your understanding.
