25.01.2022 Some useful information on Independent Assessments. FAQ I’m already an NDIS participant why and how often do I have to go through this process? Participants will need to complete an independent assessment from time-to-time and at different stages of their lives to make sure they continue to get the funding that is right for them.... You may be asked to complete an independent assessment, when you: * are approaching a new life stage, for example starting school, or preparing to enter the workforce * have a change of circumstances * request a plan review * have stable supports and would like a longer plan have supported independent living supports in their plan are having their NDIS access reassessed are preparing to transition out of the NDIS.
