24.01.2022 Hear Ye Hear Ye Look at these handcrafted wooden beauties! Our Class 4 woodsman dads have been busy lovingly crafting close to 100 of them! This year we will be offering this wonderful Swordmaking activity in The Woodlands at the fair.... Youll be able to sand, oil, stamp and strap your very own sword. Come along to The Woodlands.

20.01.2022 Mini Artist Profile Introducing Tiani Schaefer & a snapshot of her Fragment Series. Tiani is a Northern Beaches based artist and designer inspired by nature.... Tianis practice is an exploration of landscapes we often take for granted. They are a commentary of their imbalance with society and how we have left the land in a very fragile state. Tiani uses Australian Timber & Flora to create textures and imprints throughout her handcrafted tiles and then staggers them to form three dimensional works. 20.01.2022 Glenaeon Rudolf Steiner 2020 Art Show is proud to introduce our 2020 feature Artist Julie Hamann. "I am a pastel artist. I love the expressive potential of this medium. It can be rubbed back to just stain the paper, applied in lush powdery layers, blended to soft clouds of colour and bold raw marks. The materiality of this medium and its capacity for nuanced expression is very seductive. 13.01.2022 100 hand made swords were SOLD OUT by 1pm at the popular Swordmaking activity in our Woodlands. The kids did an incredible job sanding, oiling, strapping leather and letter stamping their swords.

08.01.2022 Introducing Helen Shin & her porcelain artwork Constellation Rose. "I find inspiration from memories of the past and present in bring my art into everyday life. My work is inspired by the floral designs and beautiful lace patterned clothes I wore as a child, made by my creative mother. I use the white porcelain clay to create a simple lace pattern which is transformed beautiful tableware that we can use every day in our life. It is my hope that these images evoke warm feeling...s that I can share with other people." 06.01.2022 Mini Artist Profile Introducing Romanda Newman & her artwork Hidden. Hidden Sometimes we know were ready for a change in our lives but are still too frightened to step out into the light. We remain hidden for a moment longer before taking that leap of faith.... "In my art practice I utilise the unique qualities of clay to create and take advantage of happy accidents, whether its the way fine clay likes to bend and curl, or the way a decorative oxide flashes in the kiln. I love it that Im simply in partnership with clay, never fully in control of the outcome. It leads to wonderful, unexpected results. Serendipity."
