24.01.2022 People will be happy to know we are seeing recovery across Brisbane, Wynnum and Redland City. After the slow start to year where we had the banking enquiry, the... negativity around the election investors, homeowners and buyers were all a bit reticent to move in the market. We are seeing a much better result now moving into the end of the year. Sydney and Melbourne and Brisbane markets are recovering with improved Auction clearance rates and more buyers through open homes. 24.01.2022 We have been doing lots of calls lately to our clients and there is a strong perception out there that the current market is not so good. The good news is we are seeing change across all markets since the Election, coupled with changes to APRA's guidance to serviceability assessment for mortgages and reduced interest rates. Auction clearance rates in Brisbane last Saturday for McGrath were up to 67%, Auction rates in Sydney and Melbourne have also improved. We are seeing ma...rked increases in buyers through our properties and open homes. Traditionally the Redlands has a strong performance coming into the end of the year and with these foundation factors on the improve we can only see strong positives for the market here. It is absolutely disgusting and indefensible that governments and regulators have allowed this to happen for so long. It has been in plain site for many many years and no level of government has taken steps to adequately address it. Don't think it is just happening in high rise units either unregulated, unlicensed marketeers are operating in all areas of new propert...y Real Estate. What is even worse is that this is happening through so call trusted advisors like accountants, solicitors and financial advisors. However I would point out that the vast majority of these professionals won't take part in it because they see it for what it is and protect their clients. They also need to look closely at property investment clubs as it is the same thing wrapped in a different package.
