25.01.2022 Absolutely nothing happens with my team without someone giving me a hand. Today my dear friend @alexeibehr drew the short straw and gave up her afternoon to come and groom for the boys @madigielen_eventing jump club. All the boys jumped really well and the format of these days means you can iron out any issues right there. I can't thank @madi_gielen and her family enough for organising such a lovely day but there are no words that can express my thanks to all my friends and ...family (the list is VERY long and some I have no pictures of because they are the ones behind the lens) who give up time with their own loved ones to come and support us. While it may only be you and your horse out there on the day the list is very long of the people who get you there. From my sponsors, coaches, my staff, vets, and farriers but your friends hold your hand through all the good and bad. These heros take the nerves, the joy and the utter sorrow that comes with this sport. And somehow they still turn up at the next event ready to help in the cool down, celebrate your victories and help plan your response to set backs. 19.01.2022 Tailored Herbs have been part of the Glenbaile team from before we even existed as Glenbaile. One of my personal favourite products is the Happy Belly mix. While its a product I have used regularly I only just put Arnie back on it about 8 weeks ago. He was tense in his work, grumpy and was reacting to ulcer points in his body work. Within 4 weeks he was a different horse under saddle. I decided I'd get him scoped at Valley Equine Veterinary Centre to know for sure. You won't... be shocked that we found some horrendous ulcer scars but what was amazing was that they were self healing even in the spots renowned for being tricky to heal. Arnie hasn't had gastropel or equivalent since Adelaide in Nov and I can only contribute this to the Happy belly mix. We have since treated him with omeprazole injections to ensure a full healing but i can't recommend these herbs enough to help manage the gastric health of your horse! Its very palatable as proven by jolli who would eat it straight out of the Tub! See more

15.01.2022 Last weekend we had our first competition of the 2021 season at the Bedivere Wadyra - WA Dressage young Riders Association dressage day. Ballahowe Jollimont had his dancing shoes on and took out 2nd place in the Kelato Animal Health elementary and we had our first attempt at a Medium no ribbons but a huge achievement for us both. 13.01.2022 We are incredibly lucky to have Vanessa Hancox Equine Services as part of the Glenbaile Team. Not only does Ness keep the team feeling good with body work. She helps me form exercises to improve theirs and my weaknesses. She is meticulous on picking up the smallest changes in their bodies and demeanour and working with us to find solutions. She is as dedicated to our success as we are, and as committed to finding solutions to our issues. A wealth of knowledge and a lifetime of experience has her offering sound no nonsense advice. But her openness to alternate remedies has her researching new studies and new products to continuously improve each horses comfort to perform at their peak. Her love for every horse and rider and her respect that each has their own journey makes her one of the most remarkable women i have met.

A huge thanks to everyone who helped after my fall. To my amazing girls who have gone above and beyond there are no words. Like every set back this is only temporary and we will be back out soon.

09.01.2022 If you have been looking for some stable boots/yard wraps or a quick alternate to stable bandaging then look no more! These little beauties in my opinion are the bees knees ! And trust me I've been through a few. The WeatherBeeta - Australia Therapy-tec boots do not move, slip or rub. The inner liner is removable and washable and the Velcro well it sticks (like it should!) And the price is very reasonable when you buy them from our friends Horseland Midland. My only criticism is that they don't have blue binding for my matchy/matchy ocd!

05.01.2022 We went eventing! APH Rusalka and Glenbaile Half Pint went to Horseland Bunbury CCN-s 2021 Both boys were in the Machinery West 1*. This was Bijoux's first start at 105 and he did not dissapoint. He put in a lovely test in a class with some very fancy horses. A very bold cross country , and 1 rail show jumping. Couldn't be prouder of our pocket rocket . And supee rupee was his usual wonderful self, a lovely test, a super xc (once I remembered where the accelerator ...was ) and a clear Showjumping left him in 5th place! Not bad given we haven't been on a xc course together since 2017. 01.01.2022 Who remembers little Del boy aka Glenbaile Delevigne ? Well here he is with his new owner Meg Feodorovs jumping their way to 2nd place in the 65cm at WAYER Valley Equine International Horse Trials last weekend and taking out highest placed Off the Track WA He was always a yard favourite and it makes us so happy to see him prospering with Meg. Looking forward to seeing them out and about!

01.01.2022 The Proof is in the Pudding! Last week we had the lovely and very professional Beth King from Saddle Solutions out to fit the entire team for their mid season saddle fit, and while most of them needed some adjustments here and there as their bodies change with work and feeding the stand out was Bijoux. (Glenbaile Half Pint) The first photos are from 11th September 2019 and the last two are from 21st May 2020. Bijoux had started getting uncomfortable going forward so after som...e discussion it was pretty clear none of the saddles in my tack room were suitable for the pocket rocket. (Some people collect china...) So Beth measured the little guy up for his very own saddle! He measured a narrow gullet and it was decided we would order him 1 size bigger in the not so unrealistic expectation he would build up and fill out. In November we changed all the team onto the Harrys Choice feed and well the results you can see for yourself. With this feeding regime, good training and a saddle that fits Bjoux has not only grown and built into the larger gullet, poor Beth had to widen it another size he has build up so much! I could not be more impressed with the Harry's Choice feeds that Sharman-Farrelly Eventing recommended and it is available in WA through Equine Advantage, Huge thanks to Horseland Midland for organising my beautiful Amerigo saddles and last but not least thanks to Beth for your time and patience.
