04.01.2022 Below is the latest advice from the school as posted 16/03: Dear Parents and Carers, Staff met this morning to discuss our school’s operations and precautions with regards to COVID-19. ... At the meeting we discussed the following; 1. Hygiene and reminding students about washing hands, social distancing (where possible), tissue use etc. Rest assured that teachers are being diligent with these matters. 2. A number of our families have decided, for various legitimate reasons, to to be cautious and keep their children at home. As such, and in the event of ‘remote learning’ being undertaken should schools be asked to close in the future, we have decided on utilising G Suite as the platform for online learning. This afternoon teachers will meet again to set up Google Classrooms. This will enable all students with a device or computer to access online learning for their class and access appropriate activities, should the need arise. A ‘cheat sheet’ will come home during the next couple of days with log in details For G Suite plus details on access to any online programs your child may utilise at school. 3. The Department of Education has cancelled sporting activities, excursions, assemblies or any event that involves large numbers of people. Grandparents Day and Book Parade, Assemblies and all sporting events (including PSSA Swimming and knockout events) will be cancelled.
