10.01.2022 The calm of social isolation has allowed three of the Woolshed Committee members - Dale Price, John Berger and Stephen Maxwell (maintaining appropriate distancing of course) the opportunity to remove dead trees on the perimeter and to undertake Stage 1 of the replacement of the loading ramp at the front of the Woolshed. This ramp is not the original one and the reconstruction will replicate the original and will also incorporate a disguised lift for visitors with mobility issues.

03.01.2022 The book The Accidental Heiress written by Glancoe National Trust volunteers about the history of the Leake family of Glencoe has not only received a grant to support its publishing from SA History but the authors have also been interviewed several times by ABC South East as well as by Seniors Magazine. In addition, ABC's Landline in its ANZAC segment will screen the story of the link between Glencoe and Australian Auxilliary Hospital N0. 1 established during WW1 at Harefield Park England - the home of Letitia Leake the heiress to the vast Glencoe station estate. The book is available from Collins bookshop in Mount Gambier, information Centres in Mount Gambie, Millicent and Penola, the Mary Mackillop Centre, Dymocks Adelaide and Adelaide Booksellers.

01.01.2022 Wow, it’s just about our 1 year anniversary! To celebrate we’d like to thank all of our amazing clients and sessions players by inviting you to our final Palomi...no Nights event on Friday November 29th at the Glencoe Woolshed! We will have the amazing Alison Avron, Sahra Rowhini-Farid, Alison Newman and Tristen Bird performing. Food and bar will be put on by the amazing Country Post & Bistro and it’s sure to be a great night! We started Palomino nights in September 2018 to provide a platform for original artists looking to showcase their craft. The idea was to draw touring artists into regional areas and curate events where the two could share ideas, converse, collaborate and perform together in front of a listening audience. We’re so proud to have achieved this and November 29th will be no exception. See you there!
