24.01.2022 Hi All, Normal sessions are as per normal this upcoming week: Sunday morning Junior session 9am-10:30am and 10:30am to 12pm... Sunday midday Senior session 12pm to 2pm Monday night 7:30pm to 10:30pm -> Due to Monday night frequently reaching capacity, visitors may not get a spot even if you arrive early. Members, it is essential that you let the club know via our Facebook page BEFORE 6:30pm on Monday night if you intend to come. This will aid the club in confirming numbers and if it is full, we let you know. Members, you have until 7:45pm to arrive unless arrangements organised with a committee member, after that we will work out what visitors can join in. The committee is monitoring the situation and seeing what we can do. We appreciate the support and your understanding when we have reached capacity. If you have any questions or suggestions, let us know with a PM or reach out to a committee member at one of our social sessions. Thank You.

18.01.2022 Hi All, with the news of a new COVID cluster over the weekend we stress that if you are feeling unwell even if it is very minor that you don't come and play. This is to protect yourself and everyone, we will be stricter with social distancing, hand sanitising and enforcing the 50 player limit tonight in order to keep everyone as safe as possible. We have cash-less payment facilities available and is encouraged. If you were in proximity to the cluster locations on the weekend... then can we asking you respectfully to not play for the next two weeks as per SA Health guidelines. Thank you for your time and understanding, lets keep everyone safe and the ability to keep playing badminton safely! 18.01.2022 Recently our club President, Kym Lau caught up via a virtual meeting with Peter Roberts from Badminton Australia. This was part of the Back on Court campaign and we are grateful through the organisation and communication from SABA that we could start up social sessions again. The committee was always aiming to get back on the courts as safe as it was to do so. Thanks to Matt Simpson from BA for organising the meeting, thanks to SABA in allowing us to get back onto the court as early as we did. Also, thank you to you! YOU being the community for being patient and it was great to see you on court again.

15.01.2022 Hi All, we the recent announcement made by the State Government, we have decided to cancel our social badminton sessions (juniors and seniors) INCLUDING TONIGHT. This decision has not been taken lightly, the committee called an urgent meeting and decided that would be best for all. With that, we are closed for at least the next 2 weeks, apologies for all those that had planned for a hit however, health and safety was at the forefront of the committee.... 13.01.2022 Hi All, as announced by the State Government today, we fall under the category of "Sports, Community sports training/games - indoors and outdoors." Therefore, we will be closed until December 1st. The roadmap ahead was to open again by December 1st and go back to as it was on November 15th. Fingers crossed that we have positive news and this may be lifted earlier. ... 13.01.2022 Hi All, The club would like to thank the members that let us know just before the Monday night session started that they couldn't attend. This allowed some visitors to join in which was great to see.... A reminder that this coming week Sunday we are not open due to the City of Adelaide tournament. We are there this Friday night between 8pm and 10pm and next Monday at the usual 7:30pm to 10:30pm. Best of luck to the players participating in the City of Adelaide!

11.01.2022 Hi All, Today's press conference by the State Government was great news for everyone that did the right thing. We won't be there tonight, however we will have discussions on when we can start again very soon. We are following instructions by SABA, SA Rec and Sport and the local council.... When we have some news we will announce it, so fingers crossed we can play again! Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

09.01.2022 Hi All, today's announcement is looking positive for us to start social sessions again from Dec 1st - therefore our potential first session is Friday night December 4th. Please keep in mind that the club will be working with SABA to make sure all new COVID Safe protocols are met. This includes cleaning, QR code process, social distancing and the maximum number of patrons allowed in each of the areas at the Lockleys Hall. Until the above is signed off by both parties, only the...n we can open safely. We will keep you posted as we are sure that you can't wait to have a hit again :) Stay safe and more announcements will be posted in due course.

07.01.2022 Hi All, with the recent announcement by the State Government that from June 19th onwards Step 2 has been further relaxed to allow 75 people, up from 20. The good news is that you don't have to book before hand! We are allowed to have up to 75 people to our social sessions but we are not aiming for this limit as it won't allow everyone a chance to have a decent hit if we had that many people. Instead we have a self imposed limit of 50 players per session to give everyone a fa...ir go. Currently we won't host Friday night sessions until July so come to our Sunday or Monday sessions, look to see you on court soon!

05.01.2022 ** Sunday Social Session Update - 25th October ** Junior training is on and will be run as normal. Due to a private tournament starting at 1:00pm, we won't be running a Senior social session.... Our Friday and Monday night sessions will run as per normal. It was great to see familiar faces again and the tribute to Glen McPherson was a great way to honour one of the greats of our club. Life Membership was awarded to Nigel Ishwerwood and Kim Doung. 02.01.2022 REGISTRATION IS CLOSED Due to the Club Championships being run on this Sunday, there will be no Junior training and no social play on that day The Junior competition starts promptly at 9 am and should be finished by 12.45 (lunch about 12 noon), cost $5 (including light lunch).... Senior matches start from 9am with singles, doubles to follow at 10.30am and mixed games starting about 12pm. Estimated finish time is 5pm. Lunch about 1pm. Cost is 1 event $15 (including lunch), 2 events $20, 3 events $25. If you are feeling unwell, please notify us as soon as possible that you will not be attending. Good luck!
