25.01.2022 it is with great sadness that we announce the passing of my Dad Ray "Chic" Marchioro. He passed away peacefully this evening after a long battle with cancer with his family by his side. He was an integral part of helping the Glenelg BBQ Inn become what it is today and he will be sorely missed. - Martin and Family

21.01.2022 We have been thrilled to begin welcoming customers back for dine in over the past few days! It has been great to see everyone enjoying themselves while practising social distancing. (Like this group over the weekend!) At this stage, we are restricted to a maximum of 10 customers at a time until Monday June 1 Further relaxing of restrictions means that we will be able to have 20 customers at a time from Monday June 1. ... We will be open seven days a week, and we will continue to offer takeaway and raw meat ordering as well. Despite these regulations forcing us to change the way we have operated as a business for the last 45 years, we would like to reassure our customers that we will still be open and here for them during ...this challenging period. We will now be open for takeaway seven days a week from 12-8pm, offering our full dine-in menu including salads, breads, soup and our popular steak sandwiches which will allow you to bring the Glenelg Barbecue Inn experience home with you. 18.01.2022 We get asked more questions about our charcoal grill than anything else. But here is a little known fact, in our nearly 45 years of operation, the charcoal has never been extinguished. Our capacity will be reduced to 20 patrons during the early period of opening. As a result, we are planning to operate using extra sittings to accommodate a greater number of guests.
