The Glenelg native shellfish reef will provide many environmental benefits, including: Providing food and shelter for marine life to grow and thrive. Purifying the water - each oyster will filter a bathtub of water a day! Stabilises the seabed and prevents coastal erosion. Provides an opportunity for people to learn about our precious marine life. I cant wait for locals and tourists to experience the new reef, which will provide another attraction to go with the dolphins and seals that swim along our spectacular coastline.
