21.01.2022 So today I sold my Post Office!!!! I am so proud of what I have achieved in the last 14 years from the teeny weeny little shop at 13 Main St to the bigger, better and brighter shop down the Paris end of Main St. Many people don’t realise that although Glengarry Post Office works under the Australia Post banner, it is a small business like any other and we work hard to make a good living and build a better business. The friends I’ve made, the families I somehow feel part o...f, the hatches, matches and sadly the despatches have all enriched my life. So many stories both funny & sad and now I’m wondering whether I still have to abide by the what happens in the Post Office, stays in the Post Office rule. Maybe I’ll write a book, maybe I won’t change the names .. I want to thank you all for the love and support especially over the last few weeks. I have been humbled by your kind words. I will miss you all (well maybe there’s a few ?!!) but the timing is right and I need to spend time with my family. I wish Haren & Unatti all the very best and look forward to seeing how they take Glengarry Post Office to the next level. Don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened See more
