07.01.2022 Thank you to everyone who came and helped celebrate the Library turning 66 on Saturday. We are very grateful for the continued support from our community. During the official ceremony, we acknowledged the following people and groups - Harvey Young (representative of Glen Innes Apex Club); Denise Pryor (representative of Glen Innes Opportunity Shop); Margaret Smith, Marina Gerlofsma, William Rendell and Lindy Stevenson (all of whom are long time serving members of both our Library Committee and Friends of the Library). Thanks to the official party guests - Adam Marshall (Member for Northern Tablelands), Mayor Carol Sparks and Craig Bennett (Glen Innes Severn Council General Manager)
06.01.2022 We're starting Storytelling again next week!!! Due to Covid-19 restrictions, we have had to restrict numbers, bookings will be ESSENTIAL! If you do not have a ticket, we can not let you in. Bookings will be available online on Monday 2 November. We will publish the link here on Facebook and on the Library webpage. One ticket per attendee. You will be required to fill out a visitor form, sanitise and socially distance yourself. We are extremely excited to be commencing storytelling, we have missed having little people in the Library, please support us by coming.

01.01.2022 Through a successful small grant submission, the Library was able to acquire the travelling 'Art of Ageing' Exhibition which is currently on display in the Glen Innes Art Gallery from 5th April until 23rd April. The stories and photographs are inspiring and a great opportunity to learn about our wonderful seniors during Seniors Week. The exhibition is open Monday to Friday 10 am - 4 pm and Saturdays 10 am - 1 pm.
