08.01.2022 Glenlea Park wool test results from our latest shearing. The top two lots are our complete drop of ewe hoggets wool. The 3rd and 4th lots are our stud ewes wool. Our adult sheep, including hoggets have averaged 4.8kgs per shearing (2 shearings a year).

03.01.2022 Thanks to everyone who attended our ram sale yesterday, buyers and underbidders and the teams from PPHS and Spence Dix and Co. We sold 160 of the 164 rams on offer, to a top of $9200 and an average of $2100.

03.01.2022 Just over 30 years ago $450,000 was paid for a Merino ram bred by Collinsville Stud and reported to be a world record at the time. The $100,000 paid for Glenlea... Parks Smithy set another benchmark for the wool industry as it moved through a period of restructure following a devastating drought. But what other values have Merino rams attracted throughout history? The Land journalist Stephen Burns dived into the record books to investigate the effect highly valued sires had throughout the development of the pastoral industry.
