12.01.2022 COVID update: All competition matches are cancelled for this Saturday, 28th November, 2020

12.01.2022 COVID Update Dear GTC Members, By now you would have heard the announcements regarding the SA Government mandated restrictions related to community sports. As directed and until further notice all competitions and training have been suspended from midnight tonight. We are still awaiting further direction from the Tennis SA regarding the impact and specifics of the shutdown. Once these become available we will communicate the information to members.... Initial indications are that this will apply for up to two weeks but will be reviewed as further information becomes available regarding the recent COVID Parafield Cluster. This announcement is no doubt devastating too many of you who after months of uncertainty have begun to return to some normality and the start to another great tennis season. Some official events and other matters at the club may need to be postponed, rescheduled and potentially cancelled we will communicate those impacted when appropriate. Many of the updates to this situation will happen through TeamApp and through Facebook. Please ensure you are following us via these channels to stay as updated as possible. 2020 has been trying for us all and the impact of this pandemic continues to be felt across our community. During this forced shutdown please do not lose contact reach out to your teammates and continue to ask how are they handling things & RUOK? As always if you have any questions or concerns please contact a committee member. Stay safe, stay strong and keep up the recommended hygiene and social distancing measures and hopefully we’ll be back on the court in the near future. Glenlea TC Committee

11.01.2022 Here's what you need to know about the easing of restrictions that come into effect today. Information has also been updated on the government's website: www.covid-19.sa.gov.au/ Thank you for working together with us to keep SA safe and strong

09.01.2022 COURT RESURFACING UPDATE The court resurfacing work officially starts today so the courts will be out of action from today 14th December until we return in the new year being 31st January. There was some drainage work undertaken late last week on court 6 which we were informed wouldn’t affect using this court on the weekend, but unfortunately it made this court unsafe to play on.... Look forward to seeing the resurfaced courts in the coming months. We will post some photos of the progress and keep all updated on the project. Regards Glenlea Committee
