25.01.2022 Oh boy frost everywhere Friday morning everybody at Glenlee still thawing out :D

25.01.2022 Trim and wormer today for Felix. Went quite good a bit unhappy on the near side hind so he got the rope on, end of argument other 3 legs good. He then loaded on foat no troubles there straight on, had a pick and back in his paddock for breakfast. He will be leaving shortly for his new home.

24.01.2022 Deltas Diary Havent had a chance to post for a couple of days but all going well with Delta. She has now had tying up lessons and is starting to learn basic lunging. Hopefully tomorrow she will have her first loading lesson then it will just be a matter of repeat and practise to reinforce lessons learnt. Hopefully taking some photos tomorrow and then will be advertising her on the open market next week

22.01.2022 Eves Diary. As of today Eve can now load on the float, tie up, pickup and clean feet, flex, lunge at the trot, and of course just love her brushings. :D. Hopefully if not too overcast I will get some photos of her. Sunday is D-day for Felix hes about to get weaned :D

22.01.2022 Today is the final entry for Felix he has graduated from weaner class. He is now ready for his new home. I will continue to go over his lessons with him but he can now do everything calmly and willingly not much more I can ask than that.

20.01.2022 Had totake some photos of Delta this morning for a lady and measure her. Bought her in from paddock and did a run through with her (she hasnt been touched since I finished handling her as a weaner) She now stands 13.3hh at 11 months so she should make the 15hh I expected her to reach. Lessons all went well did everything just like she had done it yesterday. Very happy boss :D

20.01.2022 Deltas Diary day 4 All feet picked up today getting better to catch finally. A brush, flexing and leading and whoa lessons, then out of yard for a pick, which she loved no nonsense no panic attacks just head down happily eating very happy boss. Lead straight back to her yard when she had a good pick halter off hay water a job well done today

20.01.2022 Chloe is looking for a new paddock. She is PHAA reg Palomino Overo mare. Was broken in no buck but hasn't been ridden for a few years so would need a complete refresher course. She is easy to catch trim and float. She has had 2 foals 1 palomino and 1 black medicine hat. Genuine reason for her paddock.

19.01.2022 Hi all rainbow over Glenlee yesterday afternoon lovely. And can you all keep your eyes out for a little guy about 2 foot tall and wearing green overalls and cap and giggling please. The little bugger stole my pot of gold :(

19.01.2022 Coming up for sale shortly (as soon as she has been handled) is Glenlee Grace. She is HZ for the black gene and is a black and white tobiano. Sire is Strait On Command (she is his last foal) and dam is Skyeblu Pratika. She should mature around 15hh and will be a brick s** house. Price will be $2k handled. May sell for less if you want to handle her yourself.

19.01.2022 Time to start a new diary. Weaned Eve yesterday so will be reporting on her progress as we go. Today she had her first halter put on. So far she seems very smart took her about 10 minutes to work out whoa means stand still after a small pull on the rope. Hope she keeps this up as it makes it so much easier for me :D

18.01.2022 No longer breeding so have most of my horses for sale at drastically reduced prices. This includes a BW medicine hat weaner colt, Bay weaner filly, Stallion and broodmares. 17.01.2022 3.5ml rain overnight at Glenlee and has been drizzling all day. Had to shift horses this morning so was enough to get me pretty wet and freezing cold. God I hate winter

15.01.2022 Pony and donkey trims today. We now have Abbey, Bindi and Lorry trimmed and wormed. Have Tilly, Callie and Bonnie to go. Their feet are so much better in the front paddock for some reason must be more dry area than the back paddock. Farrier not complaining very easy job today not much to do at all. :D

15.01.2022 Time for a new diary this time for Felix he is now weaned and started lessons. Has had his first halter on and his first brush this morning. He is a little different as he prefers me to be on his off side rather than his near side :D But we are working on that and he is getting better still great result for only being caught for the first time yesterday after never being touched. Sadly I didnt do anything with the last 3 because of cancer treatment but they have all become nice willing little horses and seem to be quick learners :D

14.01.2022 Felix diary. Today Felix had his first loading lesson virtually straight on so very happy about this. He now has the confidence to know that we would not put him anywhere he could be hurt and the trust is now firmly established. Next big lesson will be tying up. Just about time for some photos of him in the coming days :D

14.01.2022 Deltas Diary. Today is the last instalment for Delta. She had a run trough of her lessons this morning. She is performing all with ease and confidence. So today she was wormed and had her feet trimmed and then was turned out in the paddock for a couple of weeks spell. She is still available for sale

She has Peptos Stylish Oak, 2 crosses of Acres Destiny, Color Me Smart, Reys Ya Garter, 2 crosses of Poco Peppy Doc and more in her pedigree. Will look at sensible offers and a short payment plan until she is ready to go. Please no tyre kickers or photo collectors this filly is the real deal, she should mature around 15hh and will be a great performance horse.

07.01.2022 Felix Diary. Lessons continued today and though still does not like me on the near side is much better. He is starting to enjoy his brushing so thats a big plus. He flexed much softer today and was more relaxed about the whole process. So onto his feet just a quick pick up and put down with the front but I did put a rope to lift his back just in case but all in all not too bad for his first go. Also today more leading lessons much less fussing today and leading calmly and stopping good. Well done Felix

05.01.2022 Unexpected bonus rained all night and still going. 23mls in the gauge this morning :D. Just in time we were to start irrigating yesterday so a big saving in water.

04.01.2022 Eves Diary. Almost ready for tying up lessons and loading lessons. I have never seen a youngster who loves being brushed like this girl. She dont care where you are brushing as long as you are brushing. Legs, under belly under tail face where ever. She now gets out 2 times a day for a pick (thanks hubby) while I clean yards and stable but had a little hiccup a very indignant Delta stomping up and down the fence so had to bring her out of the paddock (mind You) for a pick too. :D

03.01.2022 Had to take some photos of Delta this morning for someone so caught her and bought her in (she hasnt been touched since I finished weaning her) She is now 11 months old and is 13.3hh so should make the 15hh I expected. Went through the lessons eg brushing feet picked up and cleaned, tied up and loaded on float, all done calmly and willingly very happy boss.

03.01.2022 Harleys last foal born yesterday. BW filly to Tika. Think her name will be Grace it really seems to suit her. They are both for sale.

02.01.2022 Got a newbie this morning. Freckles has a looks brown tobiano colt. He has a lot of spots over his wither so am thinking he may be HZ for tobiano. He will be for sale when weaned. Photos not so good, first time mum just wants to keep him to herself. Hopefully I will get some better ones when things settle down :D.

01.01.2022 Eves Diary. We are now on day 4 of Eves journey into being a grown up horse. :D Today she is picking up her feet all 4 enjoying being brushed, and flexing nicely including turning a complete circle and following the pressure of the lead. She has suddenly realised that I am the one with the feed and is cleaning up her feed like a professional. So today more leading lessons and managed to take her out of the yard for a short pick with no major dramas so quit her while I was ahead before I got carried away and pushed her too much. All in all a good couple of days.
