18.01.2022 TAKE IT OUTSIDE P2. Following on from our post earlier in the week, some things are impossible to properly assess in the constraints of a room e.g. running. Liz came into the clinic to see us with pain in her knees when running. Upon assessment in the clinic we found that her range, and strength were great, and were unable to reproduce her pain. It was only after taking things outside we were able to properly assess her running form.... Jon found that she was running quite loudly - with long strides, and hitting the ground with her heels. With some cueing of staying light on the toes and shortening her strides we were able to improve her form and decrease her pain.

Often people will let their tendon injuries rest, bit miss the crucial step of progressively reloading it over a long period of time!
