25.01.2022 Trophy & Medallion Collection Trophies & medallions will be collected by the coach or manager on return of the laundered team jerseys. We will be set up near the storage sheds. Please ensure that you have all your jerseys to return as there is a replacement cost of $50 for those not returned or damaged.... The dates are: U5 - U7 - Saturday 10th October (mufti day) collect before your game. U8 - U11 and U12 - AA who are not competition winners - Saturday 17th October (times TBA). Competition Winners - Saturday 24th October (times TBA).

25.01.2022 LIGHTS NOT WORKING AT MR We are aware that the lights are not working at Mulgoa Rise, they unexpectedly went off just before 7pm and are unable to be turned back on. Council has been informed and will update the committee tomorrow but there is the possibility they will not be fixed prior to training tomorrow night (25/9).... If no update has been posted by 4pm tomorrow, training at MR will be called off for tomorrow evening.

25.01.2022 COVID Update - Field Limits An email has been received by the committee from NFA, reminding all clubs that the COVID Safety Plan includes a limit of 500 people at the grounds. We reach 500 at Mulgoa Rise when all fields are running and there is one spectator/player.... You can help us with this by only having parents watch games, if you can avoid bringing any siblings and ask grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins to stay home that would be appreciated.

21.01.2022 Mulgoa Rise Lights Update Lights are still not working at Mulgoa Rise, council have offered us the use of Ched Towns, southern field, for training tonight. We have organised for the lights to be on from 530-930.... Teams are able to move there, please ensure you share the space with all who go.

20.01.2022 Weekend Reminders - R14 Canteen OPEN - the canteen will be open for drinks only for the last two rounds, until stock runs out, eftpos is preferred. Teams Short Players - U5-U7 please play 3v3 if you are down players, all other teams must email [email protected] and we will put you in contact with other coaches/managers who may be able to help out. Forfeit is only the final option, not the first.... Spectator Limits - with restrictions eased to 2 parents being able to attend, please continue to keep to that. We have a maximum of 500 at the fields and reach that limit with all fields running and one spectator/player. Daylight Savings - for those playing Sunday don't forget we lose an hour! U5-U7 - jerseys are to be handed back on Sat 10th, managers please remind your parents to have them washed and back to you by then. Player Refunds - if you haven't collected the player refund from the canteen for your team please do so this weekend, this will be your last opportunity.

19.01.2022 DIV 1 TRIAL UPDATE Due to the limited number of applications the trials for the U15G & U16G Div 1 teams has been cancelled. For the U11 (mixed & girls) & U12G players trialling tomorrow we are aware of the predicted 40C temperatures and will advise around 4pm if the trials are to proceed.

The minimum requirement is one 3 hour grounds duty shift per fortnight and attendance at the monthly committee meetings. ... 03.01.2022 COACHES & MANAGERS All coaches & managers (U12 - AA) were emailed a request to submit their trophy nominations yesterday. Three categories are to be chosen and a player nominated. Rejected emails have been received so please share this with your coach or manager.... The categories to choose from are: Most Improved Most Consistent Players Player Commitment and Effort Parents Choice Award (U12-U17 only) Please email your three categories and players to [email protected] by 5pm Friday 25/9. No late replies or change requests will be accepted as this is time sensitive. If a reply is not received by the deadline, we will assume your team does not want to be awarded any category trophies.

03.01.2022 COVID-19 Community Sport Update Yesterday NSW Health released the guidelines for easing of restrictions on spectators at community sport. The main points impacting the GPFC community are:... More than one parent may now attend community sporting Non-essential adults should continue to be excluded from sporting activities Physical distancing of at least 1.5 metres must be maintained between people that are not from the same household Continue to minimise gatherings before and after the event We encourage all visitors to the fields to make use of the hand hygiene stations, maintain physical distancing & only arrive 30mins prior and leave immediately after the game finishes. 01.01.2022 Games & School Holidays As you are aware the last three rounds for this season are being played over each weekend of the school holidays. Due to this we are getting a large number of requests to find players for games as families are away.... For U5-U7, can all teams be accommodating and if you are playing a team short of players either have players join their team for the game or play 3v3 etc. For U8 and above, please email [email protected] and he will be able to put you in contact with other teams who may be able to help out.
