25.01.2022 Congratulations to Kelly-ann Scanlon on getting her National C badge. Well deserved!

24.01.2022 Not long till the season starts!!! A reminder as this year is going to be different to most. Please do not arrive any more than 15 minutes before your game and ensure you leave straight after. Each team kit has hand sanitiser supplied but it’s also a great idea to have one if you can. Your safety is our priority. Let’s get excited for game day!! Thanks, GPNC

23.01.2022 Congratulations to our Premier winning teams; 15 Div 3 Freesias, 15 Div 4 Foxgloves, 17 Div 2 Nightingales, and B5 Tulips. We’d also like to acknowledge our other teams that played in the grand final yesterday, and in particular the 13 Div 2 Hula Girls, who lost by 1 goal in a very close game that went into extra time. Well done to all our players, coaches, umpires and officials involved in the day!

22.01.2022 We have received an update from PDNA as per below: In our commitment to keeping our PDNA members safe, we have created a contactless way to record attendance at Netball. Collecting this information will make contact tracing more efficient, if it becomes necessary. Details are stored confidentially and securely for 28 days. PDNA will fully cooperate with NSW Health if contacted in relation to a positive case of COVID-19. Who is it for?... All PDNA members (and their families) who attend the courts are encouraged to sign in. This includes PDNA Executive, Players, Team Officials, Club Officials, Umpires, Volunteers for Canteen & Control and of course Spectators. Which is, EVERYONE. How does it work? A QR code is just like a barcode, with information that can be read by a smart phone camera. It provides a hygienic, contactless way of signing in to a venue. Checking in with a QR code 1. When a member arrives at the venue, they hover their phone camera over the code 2. The smartphone reads the code and goes to our sign in page. 3. When the check in is complete, we have a collection of member records we can share with NSW Health. iPhone & Android Users iPhone users already have an inbuilt feature on their phone which automatically reads a QR Code. Android users must use a QR scanning app to sign in on arrival eg. Google Lens, which is a free download from the Google Play Store. Please have your phone able to scan the code prior to attending the courts. Do I have to scan the code? We strongly encourage you to let us know you are present at the courts so that Health NSW can contact you should the need arise. Do I have to scan the code if I stand outside a POD? Yes please Do I have to scan the code if I don’t get out of my car? No. The code is only for people who interact with others Do I have to scan the code each time I attend if I come a couple of times each week? We strongly encourage you to scan the code every time you attend the Jamison Park Netball Complex. Are these records provided to anyone else? The records will be kept securely on file at PDNA. They are purely for Health NSW to complete contact tracing should the need arise and will not be used for any other means. Thanks, GPNC

19.01.2022 To all our members, we hope you have enjoyed your season and have come away with fond memories of playing in what has certainly been a challenging year for everyone. As noted in early communications, we can’t hold our usual end of year presentation to recognise our members and their achievements, so we just need to do things a bit differently. * We’ve already handed out junior teams their medallions/gifts, player of the year trophies and coach gifts on the last week of the ...competition. * We are also supporting each of our teams this year with $150 towards their end of year gatherings, in place of a club gathering. Many teams have already enjoyed theses celebrations, and some are still in the process of organising. * We are in the process of ordering and receiving our gifts/awards for our premiers, major club awards, and 10 and 15 year service recipients, and will make contact with those people to hand these out as the gifts/awards become available. Once everything is finalised, we’ll share a virtual presentation of 2020 on our social media for everyone to see. Thank you for all your support this year, and we hope to see you again in 2021!

16.01.2022 Season update: We have had some queries regarding information on draws, spectator limits, etc. for the up coming season. The reason we have not yet provided an update on this is because the details are still being work through, and we want to make sure you get the right information without it changing multiple times causing confusion. The reality is, the logistics of our competition is evolving daily due to COVID-19 and the ever changing challenges this pandemic is presentin...g each day. PDNA and Clubs are working very hard to make sure we provide a safe competition for all members and acknowledge this year will not look like any other season we have ever had. The competition is still set to go ahead on Saturday 18 July, however we will all need to make adjustments and be patient throughout the season. We will provide all our members an email as soon as we have all the information on the draw and the logistics of games; you will get this in plenty of time for you to plan for week 1. I’d like to thank everyone for your patience and support to date; it’s really appreciated. Nicole - GPNC President See more

01.01.2022 This post is a reminder to all our members and parents that we must abide by the one spectator per player restrictions that have been put in place if we want to see the competition through this season. If you do need to have other children with you because there are no other minding options, then you must stand outside the POD fence and watch from a distance. Each POD has limitations on numbers, however there are none outside the POD. Regardless of where you stand we must ensure we social distance. Thank you for your cooperation.
