15.01.2022 3E have been learning about famous Australian landmarks in different states and creating some great artwork to reflect this. Using outdoor learning spaces for Crunch and Sip has helped us to make connections between ourselves and the health of our environment.

13.01.2022 2F have been writing and publishing narratives about their own journey after reading Journey by Aaron Becker. In Mathematics, they have been using different objects to develop their understanding of mass.

08.01.2022 1D have had a busy term. They have been busy exploring all sorts of different things in maths, trying out the new STEM equipment, decorating their classroom and creating a vegetable garden.

07.01.2022 1W have been working hard and having fun this term. In Mathematics we have been sharing a collection of objects into groups. We have compared the mass of different objects using an equal arm balance. During Sport we had fun learning skills used in Athletics and we dressed up for Book week.

06.01.2022 CAMP Australia are running a community project this term titled Letters to the Community. Our friends at CAMP Australia are asking students here at GPPS to write letters to workers in our community, thanking them for their contributions and hard work. All students of GPPS are invited to participate whether attending after school care or not. A mailbox has been set up inside the hall door to drop off letters that will be mailed by CAMP Australia.

06.01.2022 4H have been busy this term using both the STEM room and the great outdoors for Mathematics.

06.01.2022 Mondays are always a treasured opportunity for 3 Compassionate to get out and embrace our schools kitchen garden! We are nurturing our green thumbs; tending to new seedlings and creating the right environment for them to grow. This week we learnt about pollination and the importance of bees to ecosystems.
