24.01.2022 WARNING Protecting Your Superannuation Laws From 1 July 2019, superannuation accounts that have been inactive for 16 months will have their insurance cover switched off. These accounts will also be transferred to the ATO, who will attempt to link the funds to an active superannuation account.... Many people have separate Superannuation Accounts to simply hold insurance cover. These are the accounts at Risk of losing their insurance cover. Account holders will be able to OPT-IN to retain their insurance. If you have any doubt, contact your superfund or adviser.

22.01.2022 EPSOM Grown 60.9% in 5 years. Here is a quick snapshot of Epsom... With exceptional population growth, Epsom is now called home to around 5,000 people.... The property market is made up of 75% owner occupiers and only 25% renters. The median house price over the last 12 months is $372,704; with 110 properties selling. Households are dominated by young families with average mortgage repayments of $1,600 per month. The median land price is now $126,500; up from $117,000 - 12 months ago. There were 26 land sales, down from a peak of 138 in 2012. This trend is attributed to a lack of supply rather than a lack of demand! 10.01.2022 BANK GREED As a broker our business model is based on providing customer choice and driving competition. The Banking Royal Commission was meant to investigate bank behaviour and greed. Two of the major banks convinced the Royal Commission that customers should pay for bank services!... In the past, banks paid their staff to meet with customers and process loans. Now, Brokers do the work meeting with customers and processing the loan application on behalf of the customer for the bank. Under this arrangement, the banks pay Brokers but continue to make record profits. Despite these profits, Banks have cut over 50,000 staff and have closed branches across Australia. (200 branches were closed in 2018 alone.) The Royal Commissioner has recommended customers pay for their loan to be processed.
