23.01.2022 another for the r/songaweek challenge. This week's theme is 'new school', and this kind of gets there with autotune, and vocoder. Think "Daft Punk on a budget" or "White Stripes with weirdness" Had a heap of fun with this one, used two different guitar amps for contrast, spent a total of four hours from writing to execution https://soundcloud.com/glenn-kneebone/so-hollow
21.01.2022 a lot of experimental sounds (for me at least!) on this one. The theme for the r/songaweek was 'reverse'. Started out by writing down a very basic drum beat, then (on paper) reversed it. Recorded the beat then flipped it backwards. Did the same with guitar and thus, the basics were there. Used a bitcrusher on the voice for the first time to reasonable effect - wanted it to be really trippy and granular. https://soundcloud.com/glenn/glenn-kneebone-going-backwards

05.01.2022 My buddy Geza and his lovely partner came and partied for New Years, and the next day Geza decided that he and I should have a song writing challenge: half hour to write something on our own, then record scratch track, then additional tracks of one take after that until we are done.
